We know that being in the presence of TO brings out the masked side of Tim. We've also seen that Masky doesn't exactly behave the way most people do. I think the pills suppressed Masky enough that he didn't take over Tim completely but let enough of his personality in that Tim still had the balls to stand up to a thing that has been haunting him since childhood with nothing more than a flashlight.

@Serum: Alex's birthday is April 4th and Entry #37 was intended to be an indication of that date. Additionally, on April 4th, 2012, TTA released a video with the message "Today is Your Last Birthday" hidden in the audio. Both were intended to be taken at face value. You're over-thinking.

If they were gonna kill Alex, it woulda been before his birthday, and it would have been shown to us. No way would they kill one of the main characters off screen.

Why? He could be dead and then later they have a tape showing his death.

I think Joseph said he did that on SomethingAwful before people found out who he was.

Did anyone else notice that in Entry #50, Jay also heard something he didn't see? Now maybe it was Masky following Alex and Jay, but maybe not.
