Jay's only motive for continuing his investigation after entry 52 was to find Jessica. If she didn't go missing he wouldn't have continued on most likely, as the operator wasn't bothering him really at all.

I don't think they'll be going to the attic for a while, not after the events of this entry. They might even save it for the last entry, end things where they began for Jay.

I'll bet that Entry #73 will be Tim trying to get Jay help. It probably won't go well, we'll see how much of that is because of Jay being stubborn and how much will be because of some uninvited company.

To be fair, it's not as easy now to add new locations as it was in the earlier seasons. Just about everywhere they've been to has been because it appeared on one of Alex's tapes, whether the ones he's given Jay or those he's tried to burn. Jay and Tim would need a really good reason to go somewhere new, and after the last TO encounter they're probably even more skittish than when they knew Alex was on their tails. Plus, they can only stretch "because Alex filmed/lived there once" as an excuse to go somewhere so far, especially now that Jay seems to be done with the burnt tapes.

Not that it's impossible to do it, by a long shot. Just with what the crew's done so far they could always find more tapes in the attic that lead to new places, but judging from a lot of the reactions to the burnt tapes people would call foul. Of course, TTA could always give a helpful hint, but he/she has been quiet for a while now.
There are other ways. Before Jay and Tim teamed up, after seeing his documents, I was sure he was going to seek out Janet. Whether or not he found her, it was a good excuse for new locales.

Confused Who's Janet? Jessica? Amy? Sarah? Jay's long-lost cousin? (Don't mean to be rude, I'm assuming it was just a typo or something, but I really don't know who you meant.)

Janet W. is the name of Tim's mother as supplied from his medical records.

Oh god, MH style "Intervention".

I wonder if Jay is even functioning properly after what happened last entry. He was apparently lucid enough to upload entry 72, but how much effort would that take? I've never uploaded a video to YouTube...

It's essentially the same process of uploading a picture to PhotoBucket, only it takes longer.

You just select the video file, give the video a title and description and uncheck "allow comments". He's done it so much it has to be clockwork for him.

Although there was also adding the text at the beginning and cutting out some unnecessary walking in the house. I think Tim might have performed some or all of the process this time, depending on what state Jay's in.

For me it takes 2 hours to upload a 4 minute video.

Exactly, and the last time I ever uploaded anything was over four years ago, so it's probably way different, now.

On a good connection, I'd say that for each minute of video, assume a minute and a half of upload time.

You can even set it up so it does all that automatically when you upload.

Well the latest tweet (24 days since the newest twitter code tweet) displays more of the effects of this incident:

I am almost certain that Tim posted this entry, for it contains footage of Tim telling Jay to get help, while Jay refuses. I think Jay would have edited this part out if he posted it, due to his denial of any problem.

"Jay gave me the password in case I ever need it"

Right Tim. Righhhhhht. He gave it to you. Who wants to place bets on how long it takes for Time to tweet his junk and then accuse Jay?

But seriously, I think the next entry will be Jay transforming into some sort of Masky-esque thing. He's starting to get all the symptoms of what Tim was going through before, so it might just happen.
