I'll try a serious answer.

Tim and Jay will eventually discover what the Ark is (with totheark's "help") and learn how to use it to defeat the Operator. There will be a final standoff, and the Operator will be seemingly defeated.

I think Alex needs to be given a moment of redemption. Something has to happen that will return him to his former self. Maybe he'll momentarily break free from the Operator's grasp, then try to stop it, only to be killed. In any case, he can't die a douchebag.

Tim and Jay will agree that it's best for them to part ways and start their lives over, far away from all this. They will finally burn all the tapes while saying a few words about Alex and the rest of the MH crew. They'll share their final goodbye. Jay [who is only filming for the YouTube channel at this point] will film Tim walking off before turning around and entering his car.

Cut to footage of Jay driving around the same areas seen in 'Introduction', with some text to give his final thoughts about everything. The one thing that's off is that nobody else is on the road, and it seems to be getting dark rather quickly.

The Operator appears in front of the car. The car spins out of control before crashing, and everything goes silent.

Cut to morning. The camera is still recording. Totheark walks up, opens the car door, and takes the camera. End entry. We viewers get an uneasy feeling as we start to realize that the entirety of the final entry was edited and posted by totheark.

Definitely not wanting a happy ending. I want some of the small mysteries to remain just that, however I would want Jay & Tim to uncover the truths behind some of the more important ones (who is ToTheArk, what do they want, what did Alex do with the cast, some of Alex's motives, that sort of thing) though I'm still not sure TO needs a motive; the fear is from the unknown, and any motive he is given would seem shallow to us, or not what we wanted, I think it's best left ambiguous, as though we're not capable of understanding it's motive - eldritch abomination and all that.

I also want there to be a final confrontation to go disastrously wrong, and for the footage and final entry to be uploaded by TTA, perhaps with a reference to an older message of his - after seeing TO beat our protagonists, the screen cuts to black with "How much do you hate? It is not enough" or another equally ambiguous message of theirs.

Something along those lines.

I'd have Jay and Tim split up, both filming. One goes around the tunnel, one tries to go through it. Tim tries to go through and the operator comes and tries to take him before hoody intervenes. Hoody runs into the operator as Tim stands flabbergasted at them both disappearing in front of his eyes.

Jay runs into alex on the side of the tunnel at the same time hoody gets taken and alex realizes the operator won't be able to help him. Tim rushes to help Jay and they overpower Alex and try to reason with him. Tim apologizes for probably being the reason he's in the mess or w/e, and they convince alex to try to take down the operator from the inside. Alex reveals he's been keeping Jessica alive on the other side of the tunnel chained up in a shack.
