What are you guys basing these numbers on, anyway? How are you getting some sort of word-based code out of them? It doesn't really make any sense-- they're numbers. Sorry if I sound stupid, but I don't get it. At all. It's just a bunch of numbers.

So were the codes in Surveillance.

Some of us ARE taking it seriously, the problem is that all of our ideas have so far not worked. It's a fairly small code (26 characters), there's just not enough information to create a cipher with any real confidence. The surveillance codes not only had significantly more characters, but even then couldn't be solved without Jay's help.

That, combined with the fact that it's entirely possible that this ISN'T a code, makes it very difficult to make any sort of progress.

I remember back in season 2 people used to go apeshit to solve these codes. I feel like after that one that took us two weeks to solve, nobody wants to bother since the answers are always so dumb and repetitive. One time the answer didn't even make sense with the story. "did you see what he did to the twins? i saw it"

I'll put money down that it will say something about lies

What code was this from? I don't recall it.

It was a code during a TTA video after hoody and Masky attacked Alex. I actually thought that was a cool clue, it still intrigues me

Could be any of a number of reasons: lots of people are feeling less enthused about the current season and that might carry over into their willingness to invest a lot of thought into code-cracking; the last code was so freakin' difficult that unF needed significant hints from Troy to solve it, and this tweet has even less data to work with; we're not even sure that it's even meant to be a code, et cetera, et cetera, ad nauseam, amen.

I'm no good at codes, but I did like Mariah's idea about the phone keys -- a nice dovetailing with tta's phone key image.

Also, because it's just numbers and numbers don't spell words.

Serum...read a book sometime.

The last code though we had a reason to focus on it and try and sort it out. This one was followed by an info filled entry though so it has lost the spotlight. Also there is a good chance it's not a code at all but just gibberish from when Jay was pushed forward int time by the OP.

I read a lot, I'm just not exactly up to snuff on numerology and ciphers.

Here's a little list of the last few books I've read or reread...

Cities of the Red Night by William S. Burroughs
Ancient Evenings by Norman Mailer
Neighbors by Thomas Berger
Legion by William Peter Blatty
Crash by JG Ballard
Inferno and Inferno II: Escape From Hell by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle
The Last Temptation of Christ by Nikos Kazantzakis

I am about obsessed as the rest of you so i thought I would join your ranks I able to come up with this set of numbers

7 7 8 8 8 7 8 9 10 10 10 10
I did this by taking the first 13 numbers and adding them with the number of their position. ( so 6+1 = 7, 5+2= 7, and so on)
I used the lone zero as the last number and then started again with 8+1=9 and so on. Not sure if this helps but it cannot be coincidental, can it?

I think you're onto something there.

I hated that twins thing because it either implies Alex has harmed more people than we can even imagine, or that two of the characters we know are twins. The latter is not very likely, given that no two characters look even remotely alike. Jay and Jessica are probably the most similar in appearance and I wouldn't say they could even get away with that and still call it reasonable.

Maybe it makes no reference to actual twins. Maybe it is metaphorical.

I'm pretty sure it was intended to be metaphorical.
