Isn't his height changing confirmed? I mean, compared from different entries and stuff, he's different heights.

I would say it is confirmed from my point of view since he fit in that tunnel under the abandoned building...but I'm not gonna say stuff is confirmed based on only my point of view

Maybe the time distortion is due to TO slowing down the people so that their perception is that only seconds/minutes have passed, when in reality, hours have passed.

My theory is that for the characters in which time is being sped up, they're somehow immersed in the slenderverse. In the slenderverse, i don't think entities are controlled by time

Add: "Can mimic human speech" (Biology, Speculated)

-I forget the Entry number, but we all remember Jay saying "Hello?" in the basement of doom with a deeper voiced "Hello" following it, followed by a slender attack.

Ok, gotta bring the hammer down a bit.

"Can mimic human speech": The only evidence people use in support of this was the strange "hello" echo. This has not been referenced in the series ever since that entry.

"Can change his own height": This has never been mentioned directly by any character in the series.

"Unable to move if spotted by someone": There has long been an underlying theory about the Operator that capturing it on video somehow interferes with its ability to teleport or otherwise move at will.

"Wants to watch the world burn": This is too specific given what we've been shown. Part of the horror is that we don't know what its motivations are or if it even has any.

Which reminds me: didn't T.O. teleport out in #72?

And I agree that an eldritch abomination -- which is what many believe T.O. to be -- has probably not given a whole lot of thought to how it affects its victims, maybe in much the same way that we don't think about microbes...

It's kind of like a kid pulling the wings and legs off insects, just to see how they'll react...

I think I just scared myself.

That's why there's a SPECULATION category Razz

-----------------EDIT------------------
Added an "Origins" category, as well as boxing each category with the Quote forum code

I posted the details in the entry 23 thread. Many said it was just audio distortion

I'd say the only effect the camera had on the Operator was indirect: that it was simply how someone became aware of its existence in the first place.

For what it's worth, apparently Trosephim have stated that T.O. has no origin story -- I have not actually heard this myself, but I have it on good authority (which is to say, Lithp Cool ) that this is so.

However. The creepy story that Alex tells Jay in Entry 38 would imply that T.O is the result of some cruel and unusual punishment meted out to child molesters...

"Speculation" is meaningless without any kind of evidence supporting it.

I could just as well "speculate" that Jessica was really an alien who got called back to the mothership and that's why she's been missing since the hotel.

Regarding "origins," I was under the impression that they only stated that the story Alex was telling Jay in the woods was not an origin story.
