I won't fail you.
I'm currently in college for Civil Engineering at Bergen County in New Jersey. I came across something odd in Google when I was searching for places in my area for work.

It kind of disturbed me and I don't know the source or where these 'uploads' could be. There is also some numbers on the most recent post which was little under an hour ago. This seems really interesting! I don't know what to make of it



Not used to posting trailheads so if I'm doing something wrong let me know. xD

Yeah i have no idea either, the hell? lol

Okay so the first few are kinda "normal" then you have the weird thrashing around sleeping one and then the guy talking about sports suddenly notices something ... its going to be another freaky one that stops me from sleeping clearly Razz

No, only three were posted 2 weeks ago. The rest have been posted within the last 2 days.

The videos in order of newest to oldest:
'Watching' - Really bizarre, just some guy talking about watching the hockey playoffs, said he was from NJ.
'Here' - 1:22 of a person sleeping in a bed, covered by a blanket. Occasional movement from person in bed.
'Prepare' - Camera pointed at ground, person walking next to some tracked vehicle. Loud screeching of rusted parts
'Greetings' - Short vid of a few guys hanging out, holding guitar, looks to be in a bedroom.
'Meek' - Some of the same guys, hanging out. One new character, might have appeared previously. Video quality is poor so it's hard to tell. Drinking bud light, four loko, and smoking nat shermans. Classy.
'Nearing' - Video of two of the guys driving to a friends to drink. Probably to the location in Meek or Greetings? Street signs match up with locations in NJ.

Some thoughts: Still not sure if this is in or OOG. Gut reaction was that it was OOG, but after rereading some posts from the blog, it seems as though it must be in game. Times of posts match up with certain videos.

'Nearing', 'Meek', and 'Greetings' seem to match up with these posts:

I understand, GRACIE, that you were nervous about this particular part of the experiment. I took the normal precautions into Subject #3 house before the noise awoken him.

I have more data from both Subject #3 and Subject #2 but seeing how they act when frightened is worth an upload to the channel.

Subject #1 and #4 will be a difficult task.


Not sure if that's subject #3 or #5 in 'Watching'. The blog post is a bit ambiguously worded. Anyone notice anything unusual about that video?

[META] The Toi Soldier is the name of an old racing horse. OOG but perhaps relevant. Too many results for "The Bergen Experiment" to be able to tell what might possibly be relevant.

Ooh, tabbed out for a second and didn't realize he noticed something. I just thought he got distracted by the TV. It would seem he spotted subject #5, perhaps?

[META]Also, I'm a bit suspicious about whether itookthesquare might be the PM. Any chance you could give us some more details about how you stumbled across this? ARG's that have just started up usually try to rely on a bit more than luck to be found...[/META]

Okay I'm officially creeped the hell out.......And I am going through the history on chrome to see what searches brought me to the blogger. I searched for employment in Bergen County, NJ and came across this link that caught my eye and thought it was kind of odd.



I don't notice anybody in the video except that one kid with the guitar looked familiar in Greetings but I could just be delusional since I'm awake at this hour finding out answers but not getting them lolol

EDIT: finished the rest of Watching and im thinkin its a slendy series at this pointtt
EDIT2: I wish i could be a PM to something on this site. it takes time though. maybe these guys were still working on it; that could explain why there are more questions than answers? idk

So it was an Ad? Rather than a regular search result? Interesting. I think I might be a bit creeped out as well if I lived that near by, hah. I'm still a bit suspicious of you being PM, but I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt.

Do you know any slenderman canon? I'm not well enough versed in the mythos to have any clue if this could be related. I kinda hope it's not, I hope it's something original!

Most ARG's I've been involved with have both started out with more questions than answers (As they should), and are also often very much a work in progress. Hopefully this gets more interesting as it goes along!

No lol. I wish i could be creative. I have something in mind though for the future. But thankss I'm glad my first trailhead wasn't a complete failure

Yup!! I follow MH, EMH, TT, MLA, DH daily lol. There are wayyy to many slendy series out now and honestly it's killing the mythos. There's already a movie coming out in july entitled "Entity" based off of the legend. It looks alright. But if you wanna check out those top 5 slendy series I highly recommend it. The series is on the Chaotic fiction tab and are always the highest rating. (Marble Hornets, Everymanhybrid, Tribetwelve, MLandersen0, DarkHarvest00) I would honestly stick with Marble Hornets since they are personally the founders (not the creator..mind you) of the fear of Slenderman.

I could be wrong about Toi Soldier. The video Watching and Here kind of gave me a hint since I'm a core Slendy fan, Lol.

Yeah most of them do start out with people not sure if its ARG or just a story, and not sure what to do... i think its prolly worth poking around a bit more though, either way its pretty creepy!

I first thought it was going to be a slendy kinda thing, but now we know those guys are being tested on with some kind of medication it makes me think more of a resident evil thing than slendy.

Interesting either way!
