Just copy the billboards. Drop down slower but easier than typing (avoids typos). And no more 1 sec answers (tech glitch).

That's two puzzles where French/France played a role....hmmmm....

hm, i cant seem to fFind a couple of the billboards. mind, I'm just doing a google search fFor "chipotle billboards." there may be a source i'm not considering.

And possibly they changed the interface since you guys put in your answers, because you can't type anything in, it's only the drop down menus.

One of them was French. But there are translations online. Try googling Chipotle and some of the more obscure words (57,000 Mg for instance.)

Puzzle 6 very easy. Google for the Earnings call, write 3 of the 4 names (just the first name).

#7 is starting to look like a real puzzle. A vague reference, a sentence offering some context, and a slightly obscure pop culture joke. The desired answer is a small piece of a tangentially related thing. Not bad.

Also note the criteria fFor The Big Prize has changed. I'm thinking question #20 might actually be a real challenge.

In the interest of ensuring fairness, speed will no longer be a factor in the grand prize competition. Instead, we'll randomly pick the winners from the brilliant people who complete the final puzzle correctly on the first try.

That's a really big deal, actually. Complete it CORRECTLY THE fFIRST TIME!! and then they'll draw a winner.

Speed is irrelevant. Which is just wonderful, really. I was also worried about the bots and cheaters, so this is great news.

Still, I was wondering if it was legal to change the rules mid-game. It is probably covered in the Rules, paragraph 10, which basically says what they are doing instead, now:
Paragraph 10 of the rules wrote:
If the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, is discontinued for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein.

Meanwhile, it does seem quite easy to enter multiple times, although paragraph 4 of the rules seems fFairly specific on 1 entry per person.

A little crop and rotate, and then it's Google Image Search to the rescue for puzzle 8. Interestingly it didn't show up on TinEye.

Don't forget to include the word "farm" at the end.

If you're a fan of Chipotle on Facebook and are completely stumped, people will usually write the answer on one of the pictures that Chipotle posts.. fyi.. shhh...

Was reading the "official rules" and noticed something odd in the part about winner determination:

Quote:
If any potential winner is a Canadian resident he/she will be required to answer a time limited skill testing question without assistance, in order to be eligible to receive a prize.

Wha? Why the hate for Canadians? This seems like the strangest stipulation to have...

It's probably in place by Canadian law. I'm given to understand countries have varied rules about how you can run a contest. I've never heard of this specifically being a clause, and with the change in winning condition it's not clear to me whether that will still be in place.

Consider the same situation in reverse, if the contest was canadian run. The winner will be the person who can correctly answer The Great Question! (American contestants will need to complete a timed trial.) That probably doesn't reflect actual law, but that's the idea.

This was an issue in Perplex City, I think. Something about it being illegal to award physical prizes fFor some aspect they were trying to implement in season2.

Puzzle 12 is more like the stuff we used to solve here as a group.

Quote:
DO BURRITO-BOTS DREAM OF ELECTRIC SHEEP

Chipotle made the choice long ago to source food raised with respect for farmers, animals, and the environment. Most others have chosen, out of economic expediency, to source from factory farms that keep output costs low, but at high hidden cost to the animals and the land. For them, it's all about numbers. Take a moment to think about what a robot—unbiased and purely logical—would choose in this situation, and what a human would consider when faced with this moral dilemma. Then translate the pig grid to answer this question: In a world dominated by factory farms, which group of "eaters" faces the most difficult food decisions?

Think binary and then ISBN
