Which Entry is the BEST Entry?
What's your favorite Entry and why

Marblehornets has some great entries. Which one do you think had the best vibe and atmosphere? the TTA videos count as well.

My favorite Entry is #43. I loved the pacing, the ending and the overall vibe it gave.

My favorite TTA video is a tie between Forecast and Signal. They were both very creepy and it gave me goosebumps Wink

Entry 14 by far. When TO kinda crept into the room there, that sent chills up my spine. It's the fear that most kids have growing up...that some monster will come into their room and get them while they sleep. This entry just stirred up those thoughts and emotions from my childhood as I watched.

Entry #23 will always have a special place in my heart. We waited so long for it, and it delivered.

I like the one where Tim swallows a puzzle piece and has to get the man in the big yellow hat to take him to the hospital to get his stomach pumped.

My personal favourite is a tie between 64 and 65. The operator appearance in 64 was simply fantastic, and the first few minutes of 65 are beautifully intense and terrifying.

However, the scariest entry for me has got to be 37, the "enttry". There's just something about that voice that sings "happy birthday" that I find absolutely nightmarish.

As for TTA, well...Warning has to be my favourite. That noise at the start alone is enough to creep me out, and it builds and builds until it's just to much to bear, only to end with "smile for death". Gives me shivers every time

There is something about entry 26 that scares the shit out of me each time i watch it.

And for TTA, i can't see the entry ''Deluge'' without having nightmares, i know what he says but that tone of voice makes it so eerie and creepy to me

Either this one, or #18. Maybe #23 as well.

Serum needs to make "Marble Hornets: A Slender Slice of Comedy"

For me it's Entry #51. Out of nowhere we get to see for the first time one of the best locations they have, get whisked back to 2006, and later on we find that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

26, 51 and 65. Incredible reveals, lengthy enough to be very satisfying, and of course creepy as shit. To me, most of the episodes are creepy as shit, even when there isn't a jump-scare "a wild slendy appears" moment, I'm always expecting one, basically all the time. This makes it hard to base my opinion of "best episode" on just the nightmare fuel factor, especially since this series in particular (as evidenced by the long standing activity on this board) has had such a compelling/intruiging story, and had been well enough acted that we care enough about the characters to worry about them (i.e. Fearing for their safety as we watch).

So that said, 26 is reallllly creepy, but it also, to me, was the first one that really got me hooked into the story. 26 makes you feel like there's more to the story than jump scares featuring slendy. The first season is full of terrifying shit, but with 26, we establish that found footage is not going to give us all the answers; the characters must interact in person to move forward. This sets the scene perfectly for season 2, which is a fan favorite in a lot of ways, quality wise, and especially story wise.

51 just lends itself to endless speculation. The actor who plays Brian does a great job of being the same sort-of-shitty actor but lovable guy we saw from him before, so we're super fucking concerned for him the whole time, which pays off for the entry given what happens.

65 blew my fucking mind, and it's one of the best reveals of the whole series. What happens when The Operator gets you? Straight up. That's a glimpse of the terror you endure. Obviously we don't see everything, but usually one would remember NOTHING. And frankly, Trosephim pulled this off. If this wasn't one of the best entries of the series, it would be one of the worst.

So many good entries, and for different reasons. However, it's hard to choose one favorite, not because I like them all equally, but because so many entries are even better in context with others. I like Entry 23 personally as a single favorite though, if I was pressed to it. Though really, my favorite entry is the next one.

I want to say, Entry #72 could be on the list, but I basically have to wait and see how that entry ends up being used in context with the rest of the whole season/series/story. It was one of the best entries yet in my opinion, but seeing how it pans out makes a difference. For example, if Hoody didn't exist, we wouldn't be talking about Brian. Ya know?
