I'm going to say that this is valid.

Out-of-game and off-topic are two different things. Out-of-game pertains to the game, but breaks immersion and refers to the creators, filming elements, and game mythology in the frank terms of the real world.

Off-topic might not pertain to the game at all and end up being random banter, or it might be a sort of out-of-game moment, or it might be about the game but silly and not intended to reflect serious thought.

So leave this thread alone, or discuss the blog. If you're okay with breaking immersion, like I am.

And isn't troy a hilarious guy in real life!? His posts are often so comical it's hard to believe he came up with such a chilling horror story as well.

OK, why are we now making new threads just for one link to Troy's blog based on one topic-nazi's argument with someone who's trying to get the viewer's hopes up since we're all going nuts waiting for the next episode? And I swear to god, I'm not a sock puppet, I'm just tired of potentially intiguing conversations being interuppted by wannabe librarians remarking on which threads are which yaddayadda. Damn, I thought I'd seen enough of this shit before I called a truce with geneaux.

I think this is a great idea! It'll be one less thing for troll/n00bs to complain about (though I see it hasn't helped yet...). Consider it a quick reference to blog posts which talk about when to expect the next entry!

I think this is an excellent thread, despite its inauspicious conception. It'll give people who don't want their immersion broken a chance to avoid references to Troy's blog, especially if other people try to avoid referencing the blog in other threads from here on out.

I guess having [OOG] stuff labeled and discussed as such might be something the MH forum could benefit from after all.

Edit: Totally messed up but yeah I can now relate (to a lesser extent) to them. Tornado not even 3 miles from my house... was a mile wide
