Re: Quizno's sub commercial
I find the commercials very disturbing and the music grotesque. I run to turn the TV down when it comes on and there is nooooooo way it makes me want to eat there.
I am too afraid one of those spongmonkeys will end up in my sammich

hamster monkeys My husband wanted to go to quizno's the other night, but I refused. I thought they might have pictures of the little hamster-monkeys hanging around the restaurant staring at me while I eat.

Right, because it's gotten noone talking about Quizno's.
Think about it... we're on an internet site devoted to small genre of gaming and we're talking about it. Almost everyone that I know has mentioned the ads. I've never seen one but know all about them. I've heard people talking about Quizno's more lately than when one opened right down the road from me. People who hadn't heard of Quizno's probably have now and isn't that what advertising is all about?
Sure, it may have turned you off of going in and getting a bite to eat... for now. In a couple months when they've got a different campaign, that reaction will be done. And, in the mean time, how many people did they gain?
disturbing and odd and not quite right? yes. worst campaign evar? not nearly.

I love Quiznos sandwiches.
But I hate those "things".
I see them and the thought of eating at Quiznos actually turns my stomach.
I won't go there until they change their campaign (even if it goes back to the company CEO forgetting his pants because he is thinking about new sandwich ideas).

Oh my god that is the GREATEST. That is it, I am eating nothing but Quiznos peppar bar stuff, sweet n' sour spongmonkey kebabs, moon cheese, and dirigibles and zeppelins and maybe marmots and soup with lots of vegetables, from now until when I die.
My faith in humanity (and spongmonkity) has been restored.
