If you were Jay right now, what would you do?

Get Tim, get the camera and some weapons, drive back to Roswood Park, find and capture Alex, beat him up until he tells us what he knows (,his motivation, the identity of Hoody, ect.) and record it, upload it, and ask everyone what we should do next.

If I were Jay, my first reaction would have been to throw the camera at TO or Masky every time I saw them and run while they're distracted instead of trying to film every blasted second. So, yeah, probably wouldn't have made it this far.

I would have stopped watching the tapes once I saw the creepy guy in the background and how he was making my friend go crazy and finish Alex's job of burning the tapes for him. Then buy a gun and invest some time into making some good wards, protection spells and witch bottles JIC the creepy Shadow Person/Spirit looking guy tries to come after me.

Going to the police (a) could land Jay into a real thornbush and (b) would bring his investigations to a permanent end. Plus, Alex has a friend who can just teleport him out of jail.

Edited: It has been pointed out to me (privately) that Jay has no actual home to return to, being as it was incinerated. Bearing that in mind, I will revise to say that, were I Jay, I would either:

a) go back to the town from which I hail, finding my family, and hiding for a good long while until this whole foofahraw had died down (and take Tim with me).

b) pick a place, any place, as far from RosswoodTown as humanly possible, and set up a new life there (and take Tim with me, gay marrying him as soon as possible) -- hey, you asked what I'd do... so my perverted slash fantasies are fair game.

I would imagine that the police were told about the missing people long ago and just never found them. I mean, those people had friends and families, so I think it would be only a matter of time before someone noticed their disappearance and reported it. I would assume that the police investigation was unsuccessful and that Jay took it upon himself to find out what really happened, beginning with footage of this monster that the police would no doubt think phony or ridiculous.

Also, TO could probably just whisk Alex out of jail if he got arrested. And calling the police wouldn't help Jay find out who Hoody is, or, for that matter, what happened to Jessica.

Okay, well, aside from that being baseless speculation, I find myself asking yet again why you're doing it.

I also don't see why it's "baseless speculation" since I'm providing reasons why I think we can infer that the police probably knew about the cast members' disappearances.
