So the last thing we need is the name of the shell.
I'm thinking everyone who has been active has already submitted and gotten on the list of participants.

OMG I LOVE Timmy! I almost did a spit take when I saw that. Too funny.
Thanks for the compliment, Elethamei. I had a lot of fun making that one, and I am glad I could share it.
Awesome job on the bonus round, mrshomersimpson!

Just want to add my congrats to the team! Nice job everyone! That was fun. Its good to finish before the weekend when it more of a challenge for me to participate. (I know its all about me.)
The blog has new post. Little Claire is on her own scavenger hunt. There are some pretty specific things. Do you think we need to fire up the scavenger machine that is us and track them down?
I'm not sure I get the connection between TIMI and the story part of the game. I understand its Lucy's website but that is about all I get.

I'm not entirely clear on the connection either. Heres lucy running around getting death-threats, meanwhile we're doing a scavenger (and absolutely SLAYING it!) seems a bit odd. Though the blog entries are def. interesting and present their own challenges.

We can still get 10 additional points for each logo submission, so everyone, submit a logo! I already did.

Yeah the connection between the two is very tenuous to say the least. But it well be interesting to see what happens further. Lucy did get a request that tied right into a TIMI activity.
I figure that more tasks from TIMI will have something to do with Lucy's search for answers.

I admit I couldn't really get motivated for the scavenger hunt, partly because it doesn't seem very connected to Lucy's story yet. Plus y'all pretty much had it in the bag by the time I saw it, lol. Great job!
But yeah, I'm having a hard time staying engaged. It doesn't really help that those points I didn't just rack up may be needed later. Also, I did all the tasks for the Intro level but didn't get credit for all of them - by my tally I am still missing about 35 points, and that's just annoying.
Since I already sound all Ms. Negative McCrankypants, I might as well go ahead and add that I've never been much for scavenger hunts in the first place. Treasure hunts, yes, scavenger hunts, not so much. Oh well.
I did just get an idea for a logo, so I'll send that in and keep following. Hopefully things will pick up with Lucy and start to seem more relevant, or maybe I will just get over my curmudgeonly self and try to have fun with it.

If nothing else the team work aspect is a lot of fun But yeah I can understand the two "stories" have to connect at some point or people will just start ignoring Lucy and focus on the TIMI half.

Well this sucks.
Quote:
The Marie Fortescue Letters game is ending. We're sorry and we know it isn't fair to the members of "This Is My Idea" who have already put in so much work and creative effort into the game. We've made a number of fatal errors that at this point we feel cannot be corrected, the first being a fractured PM team working at a different pace on different parts of the project. We also failed to make the clues in The Marie Fortescue Letters blog clear enough to invite questions and speculation to the degree we needed to make it work. We also failed to scale the TIMI website and component of the game and we were overwhelmed by the interest in the game (we received 40 applications) as well as by the fact that many members were playing different aspect of the game at different times, since we made the application process and introductory challenges open and without deadline.
We have only ourselves to blame for problems with planning and organization. We very much enjoyed interacting with our players and we thank you for all of your effort and enthusiasm.
The TIMI Team
