ETA: So, after also emailing this Babson quote to the TIMI team it shows up as piece #1 in the Hidden History now. And there's a question mark next to #2.

I'm feeling a little dense on the Hidden History front. Think I'm just not finding the connection or the road for that matter.

Here's the Infinite Ideas newsletter I received just a minute ago. It was actually repeated twice in the email, but I doubt that had any significance.
Quote:
I have been keeping something from you, dear readers. I have more information than I have let on. I need your help, because this isn't just about the mystery of my past, it's also about the mystery of my present and my future. Perhaps yours as well.
The mystery is deeper than a simple puzzle, challenge, or task. I know that's what you signed up for when you joined This Is My Idea and signed up for the Infinite Ideas Newsletter. I promise to deliver the kinds of information and challenges that will help you make your dreams come true.
But first I need help with something more urgent. Over the course of the past week, before I started reading my mother's notebooks, I received a series of postcards. Each contains a simple sentence, and none of them really made sense to me...until I started reading my mother's notebooks. Now I think they are related, and that someone from her life is contacting me. For reason I cannot begin to fathom.
Here are the sentences from the postcards:
A. We are running out of time.
B. Four score and five years was all we had.
C. Only you can stop it.
D. Only you can start it.
E. First you must figure out the last possible day.
F. Write this on a postcard and put it in your mailbox.
I'm sending this out to the newsletter subscribers because I know you are all a bunch of smart, caring people. I have the feeling that good things will happen if we can achieve this, and bad things will happen if we can't.
-Lucy

Well with the four scour and five years part...
Her mother died in 1970 from what she said. I would guess that means we have 2 more years to reach 45.

HI! Unless Lucy's mother was born in 1929 dying in 1970 before her birthday that year? 1929 is when the H.H. begins. And BEAUT job on the acrostic, Elethamei!
ETA: Wondering if the "Finite and Infinite" email was expressly repeated twice to emphasize that passage from Lucy's letter (which remains totally mysterious to me):
Quote:
He says the loop is infinite, but I fear I will always be on one side and you will be on the other....

We have a new blog post today. It's kind of interesting. While reading it a few things came to mind.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
While it's obvious by the post that she was given a time line till her death. What I wonder is did Lucy's mom make a deal with this Banner character. For example her life changes for the better but she agrees to die in her 40th year or something.

New blog posts and tweets and emails!
So, the Word Association Challenge. I just got my next word on the email and was wondering are we suppose to continue it? I mean, do I now email the next word to her?

Not sure I haven't gotten my new word yet.
Never mind found it. Some how it bounced into junk folder... which is odd.

Also a tad Got an email from Lucy stating: "Before you get your next word you need to send me the second key." *whatever that is*. Also there's now a more tab.
And in an email reply Lucy wrote:
Excellent work finding that Easter Egg Amandel. There will be more to come. Your prize is a clue that will come in handy soon. The clue is a name: Carse
On 2nd thought maybe the name is James P. Carse, the author of the book Finite and Infinite Games. Wiki Source (Gotta say the excerpts I've now read are impressive.)
