i have a cat but i dislike sushi lol but maybe there will be a pic of such things on the internet? id imagine there would be... Also it doesnt say that we cant use internet pics as submissions unless i misread it so perhaps we can look for pics of cats and sushi and stuffed fish on public transport online?
Just throwing some ideas out there

One thing I'm having a hard time figuring out is
"Title of the book originally titled "The Shells""
A couple of quick internet searches and I'm not finding anything.
I was actually thinking of the cat thing more and could possibility draw a picture of sushi and put it with my cat, or if I manage to get sushi delivery tomorrow I can try and get the photo then so long as he dosnt try to eat the sushi LOL

I've done a couple of quick searches on "the shells" book. Unfortunately the shells is pretty generic.
I found a fantasy book called the Shells of Chanticleer about a teenager that goes to a magical land to face her fears. Sounds like a match for the website theme.
Anyone with better knowledge of literature recall something that fits? I see that Poe wrote the Conchologist's First Book but I don't see any references calling it the Shells.

I can contribute a member self-portrait, but that's about it unless we're allowed to take pictures off of Google Images.

OH MY GAWD dying laughing at those images...
the fish one is hillarious!
i cant find anything relating to the book either, i even tried hitting some rare bookshops - i imagine if it used to be called the shells then now its something else... hence making it rare..... so i tried the rare book shops online and nothing....
only hit i got was a book on british seashells and the teenage mutant ninja turtles....

Maybe it was entitled The Shells in another language? I'm thinking French, but it might be something else.

Well I found Les coquilles Saint-Jacques, it's The Shells of Saint Jacques in French and it is a book. But I don't know if the title is originally "The Shells"

Anne Morrow Lindbergh "referred to it in her letters as "The Shells", later to become "Gift from the Sea" . Source

OK so this is what we have so far.
1. Correct name and picture of the spiral shell fossil (need)
2. Title of the book originally titled "The Shells" (Thanks to Amandel we have this one!)
3.A picture of a real shell (any kind) in front of the TIMI Home Page (Elethamei said they've got this one.)
4. A real live fish or fish tank with the TIMI Home page somewhere in the picture (need)
5. A picture of a stuffed fish on public transportation (we could do the one whitecross8 found)
6. A picture of a cat with sushi or a sushi cat (I'll take that one and my vote is the picture I posted earlier)
7. A member selfie (photograph) (need)
8. A member self-portrait (drawing, painting, or collage) (Sayame said they'd do this one)
9. An original drawing or graphic for the new TIMI logo (this one may be submitted unlimited times and we will post and vote on the best one) (need a few)
10. A retweet of any of the above submissions from a Twitter user with more than 1,000 followers (need)
Then the bonus if we can.
Did I miss anything?
