Why whould Hoody go all the way from Rosswood town to the place where Jay/Tim are just for some miserable pills?
We also don't have any confirmation that they're currently living in a house whatsoever
And no, "Hoody can teleport from a town to another in a matter of minutes" is not an excuse

I actually think this video could be out to scare Jay. It seems like Hoody is saying "I need these pills, whoever is here is running out, thus I am running out, I have a gun and if I don't get pills soon I will need to resort to desperate measures"

I also think the leaving of the tape could be meaningful. Hoody could have taken it but seems more bummed out that it lacks pills, maybe he thought it was the same box he raided before and presumed it could contain them. At this point he is not fixated on the past and is more concerned about minute to minute survival.

The empty pills bottles does sort of make sense, I mean the person might just be scared of throwing them out in case someone works out they are taking them, it seems like you need to take a lot of them pretty quickly to keep the sickness at bay so it would look rather dodgy if someone saw 8 bottles in your bin. Also people have pointed out the difficulty in getting them prescribed and telling a psych "I am being chased by a faceless man!" so maybe whoever this is is stealing pills off others or finding them in medical dumps, so each bottle may only have 2 or 3 pills in them also would explain why he keeps them, possessing someones medication especially with a controlled substance could land you in hot water.

The way Hoody went straight to the box bothered me too, but as others have pointed out it would make sense. If this is Tim's house, Hoody probably hoped that he had left some pills there. This could all be a desperation shot on Hoody's part, breaking into what he thought was Tim's temporarily abandoned house in the hope that Tim accidentally left some pills behind (as he clearly isn't the most organized person in the world). Although between the three of them, you'd think Tim would be the one to be sure to lock his windows.

Hoody may not have expected Alex/Jay to be there, and so wasn't careful about tossing the empty bottles around and shaking out plastic bags.

I think it's safe to say at this point we have no idea where Jay and Tim are. If they were smart they wouldn't have posted Entry #72 until they were far away from College Town, on the grounds that Alex would see that video and then rush there in hopes of catching them still in the area.

That being said, I don't think they went back to Rosswood Town either. Especially if jay's in bad shape.

Just a silly idea that I have, but is it possible that the events in this entry happened some time in the past? My theory is that it happened before Entry #68 (because why would Hoody return to a place that Alex knows about?) Hoody ran out of pills and so walked to Tim's house to get some. He also notices a tape in the box. Meanwhile Jay and Tim are sleeping in the attic (safest place to sleep) and Hoody's noises wake up Jay.

In the time that passed, Tim and Jay have moved locations (so Hoody isn't revealing their location by posting this). However, Hoody knows what's on the tape and he knows that Jay/Tim haven't uploaded it yet. So Hoody posts Entry #73 to try to force their hand.

Like I said, it's just a theory, and it's probably wrong. In fact, now that I think about it, Entry #73 almost certainly takes place after Entry #68. The mess is likely from Alex ransacking the place following Entry #68, and Hoody returned to it because he had to retrieve his gun/pills. Anyway, I'll leave it up here for the sake of presenting an alternative theory.

I think this thread has like 5 pages FULL of speculation based on what they want to see instead of paying attention and using facts for their theories.

The figure first reminded me of Alex, then when he turns, he reminded me of Jay, they are both skinny, Hoody is too far away from him to actually get a glimpse of the hight.

But if the message Hoody is trying to tell Jay is to return (Attic wasn't explored and there is a tape they still need to find) then only two things can happen:

-Either Jay and Tim are going to do the obvious thing and head back to the house. (If the figure in the house was Alex)

-If the person inside the house was in fact Jay, then either Jay already searched the place or he was in the process of doing so, wich means he will find the tape.

I'm surprised no one really said much about the ''LIAR'' when Hoody finds the tape, we all know who Hoody has been calling a liar the entire series. It obviously contains something about Tim, no doubt about that.

There is also something that bugs me, there is a point in the video where they make an extreme close-up to the shoes, maybe thought someone used them, just a thought
