No. It's a OOG mistake, for Pete's sake! If anything it was a wallet. Or a chocolate bar, or cigarettes. Anything but another freaking tape. There's already one in Tim's house that Jay needs to get, we don't need more (for the time being).

EDIT: Now that I think about it, it could have been a tape. Knowing that Hoody, like Jay, films himself constantly, he must have a tape supply. He can't keep all that footage (Entry #67, #68, #73, and undoubtedly more) on one tape.

But if that is a tape in his jeans pocket, I don't think it has anything significant on it. In fact, I still think it's a wallet.

did you ever think, maybe, him having a wallet could be both not significant IG and not an OOG mistake? Like almost every guy I know over the age of 15 has a wallet in his back pocket, even if all it has in it is his expired library card and student id.

Also, I could see Tim and Jay sleeping in the attic to avoid the nightcreepers.

And btw we're basing the fact it's Tim's house on the following:

Windows look similar to Tim's

Their are tons of pill bottles

The box with the tape in it is the same box from #61 in Tim's house (where hoody finds the pill bottle)

When he finds the tape in the box it says "liar" why would finding a tape in Alex's house constitute him a liar? We all know Alex has more tapes. However if Jay and Tim have one they haven't shown us that would make them liars.

We're basing the fact it's Alex's house on the following:

The silhouette in the window looks like either Alex or Jay

The guy coming down from the attic was creepy, and Alex tends to be creepier.

I'm not really saying it's one or the other, but just pointing out one has a WAY better argument for it.

Pony?! Also please edit the photo of hoody's rear to be a bit smaller, it's breaking the page size.

Rewatching the video, I noticed something that probably doesn't have any significance, but I still thought it was worth mentioning.

Most people are speculating that this is Tim's house. The ladder leading up to the attic seemed to be built in (as in, the ladder slides down when you open the attic door). If I'm not mistaken, and the ladder is built in, why does Tim say that they will need to find a ladder to reach Alex's attic? If I were Tim, I'd at least check to make sure Alex's attic had a built in ladder.

Yeah, this was brought up in the Entry #72 thread. I guess it was just some sort of plot device so they would go into the basement first to look for the ladder. In my head I'm passing it off as them just forgetting that attic doors have ladders attached sometimes.

Yeah, I'll accept that as an answer. It just seems odd that Tim actually (well, we're speculating) owns a house with that kind of attic, but he forgot.

I think it was more that they were gonna do this:
- Oh nice an attic, we'll check it out once we're done with everything else
- Nothing much on the main floor, let's just check the basement and then the attic
- Oh an emp---OOISGMADSKLGHASLKGH RUUUUUUUN

It was clear to me that the attic in Entry #72 did not have a built-in ladder; it looks exactly like the entry to my attic, which requires a separate ladder to be brought in. The attic in Entry #73 clearly does have a built-in ladder; you could see the cord hanging down before it opened. If this is in fact Tim's house he would be able to spot the difference right away; he even stated definitively in 72 that they would need a ladder.

I could be very wrong about this, but I thought the purpose of showing the attic in this house was to show that THIS is the one they should worry about; no need to go poking around in the other house any more and risk being attacked again.

But that's just my own opinion, and like I said, I could easily be wrong Smile.

I'm agreeing that it was probably Tim or Jay leaving the attic, but would that be the best place to camp? Wouldn't it kind of limit your ways to escape the house if need be?

Just thought I'd point out that there were also plastic bags in the box. Didn't Tim give the tapes he had from the MH filming to Jay in a bunch of plastic bags? I have to go find that entry now. . .
Edit: Also at 9:18 we see a car in the driveway. Whose car is it? Jay's? I can't get a clear shot of it, and it is only in view for a brief moment.

Not the best,but I tried:

I'm pretty sure they've lurked around here or other forums before. It's just that they can't post anything because that's against ARG rules

I'm pretty sure they bank on this very fact to help keep their fanbase interested.

Is the house that Hoody goes to the same one from entry 72? Could the attic that person comes out of be the same one that Jay and Tim notice in 72? Remember that this video might have been taken a long time ago, before Alex left.

Sorry if this has been said before. I don't have time to look over this whole thread.

Edit: NM, it can't be the same house since it's clearly in a residential area rather than an empty field.

This has probably been asked before, but...

When do you guys think this entry takes place chronologically?

There's nothing that definitively places this entry after 72 in the timeline... Except the amount of time between entries. But still.
