Just a thought, possible connection, though I admit this is speculation.

We know Tim's car was there, so we all believe it's likely Tim who was after the pills.

Another possible point to add to this: Remember entry 72? When they go out to the car to get the flashlights and pop open the trunk, Tim goes to open the side pocket of Alex's bag next to the flashlights, to put the pictures they find away. Tim stops him though and tells him "No, top pocket, top pocket." While it didn't sound threatening or like he was trying to hide anything too serious, I've got to wonder, why did it matter what pocket the drawings were stuck in? It's possible more of the pills were there. Maybe this entry was shot prior to 72?

Another point regarding this. When Alex opens the top pocket, the interior of the bag is covered by that beige sheet, except for a white piece of paper at the top poking out. I can't make out what it says, but the symbol in the corner looks perhaps.... military related? I don't know, maybe this is another red herring, but I thought it at least interesting to bring up. Pic of the bag paper enclosed for your viewing.

I'm pretty sure that's just a tag or something. And dude — you got every character's name wrong.

Perhaps you would see better if you watched in HD.

Anyway, this entry... I took a while to read through the thread and comment on it. I wonder why, there were such exciting things happening in the entry, such as Hoody walking through areas we've seen before, coughing, finding pills, finding a tape(best part) and finding a mysterious figure who raises several more questions.

I believe I will concede, Hoody is probably Brian after all. When he climbs up to get his gun, his ass is way too wide. Plus that male-as-hell coughing. I know I've discounted similar things in previous entries but it's too hard to swallow this time. A shame, this will be one obvious reveal after over 2 years of mystery and teasing. At least we'll probably get some heart tugging from Tim's reaction.

As for mysterious attic person, I think it's Seth. You may call me mad but the idea that it's Alex doesn't sit right with me. Hoody had a gun, why not just shoot him like they were gonna in #67? It'd also be kind of cool for there to be more instability and distrust in totheark, resulting in Hoody sneaking around behind Seth's back. I don't think it's Jay, since it'd be weird for that one tape to be separate from the others and for its location to be known to Hoody. And like was said, Hoody advertising Jay's location to Alex? I think not.

It could be Jay. Jay and Tim could be living together at this point and could be hiding in the attic, to be a bit harder to find, or Tim could be having another episode and Jay locked him in the attic. This could explain hy the pills were there and why that box with the tape was there. It could be someone else altogether too, but that's why Marblehornets are so good, they cause all kinds of speculation.

My play-by-play. Only partway through the thread and thought I'd post my initial reactions while still fresh.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

0:07: Glitched title?! ohf**kohf**kohf**k is this starting on Slendermoperator?
0:35: We're in one of the burnt out areas... that is always creepyfuntimes.
0:55: DAT GLOVE! OMG IS THIS A HOODIE ENTRY!?!... And I guess he lives here.
1:40: Not only is it Hoodie, but they are going out of the way to focus on the heat he is packing. Checkhov's gun is now in full literal effect. Oh shnaaaaps. Dude is he going to go finish off Alex?
2:16: SLENDY ATTACK?!
2:33: Nope, but his Slendersickness is causing massive distortion!
2:39: Mask is off, but I already know in my heart we aren't quite at the point where we see his face. Maybe this is the episode?
3:30: And the next item we focus in on are his pills... Yeah I guess he is in it as bad as Tim. Vulnerability is being shown. (Second viewing thought: Oh, I see they are showing he is dangerously low on pills too. Didn't notice that first time.)
4:44: I guess despite hoody's ninja-like movements, he does walk from point A to point B. I'm just thinking that he must look like a normal guy in a hoodie to all the passing cars.
5:30: I'm thinking this is Alex's house. Is Hoodie planning to just bust in there and cap him?
5:53: So suspenseful! I'm half expecting Alex to be there waiting to Ambush him!
6:07: Alex pumps iron.
7:07: Hoodie must be making a lot of noise in the house he has broken into... suspensesuspensesuspensesuspense
8:05: TAPE GET!... and tape put back... Must be an important tape. And ohshnaps someone is coming?! Suspense fight or flight?! And they are causing distortion. Slender sickness?
9:00: Hoodie escapes safely... and is that Alex at the window? They aren't showing us... Hard to tell who it is.

Well that was certainly an interesting episode revealing a new angle to a very mysterious character. I wonder why it wasn't TTA'd all up.

I generally ignore mentions of "brian" and "seth" because I don't even remember those characters and they don't really feel like part of the series to me.

Okay, having now read the thread too here is my theorytime. Caveat: I'm kind of a casual viewer that generally just watches the video once and only follows these threads sometimes, so any facts/obvious things I get totally wrong I apologize for in advance.

First and foremost "YOU ARE A FAILURE"
  • Since I think Hoodie/TTA mostly communicates with Jay, think this has to do with Jay getting slendersick with the last video. I think he got pwned by Slendermoperator and now Hoodie has basically given up on him. Game over, man. Game over.
  • Also explains to me why this video is less TTA'd up and "hacked," and more "I'm vulnerable, my slendersickness is intense, living on the run, and hunting for pills."

"LIAR"
  • This seems like an obvious reference to Tim. This means it is either Tim's place or there is something on that tape Tim is not going to want us to see.
  • Also fits with the use of Tim's face. I feel like it is being spelled out for us that Tim is not the friend that we think he is. Weather he is actually manipulating Jay, the real threat and not Alex, or whatevs I don't know. I just thik it is becoming a huge *hint*hint*. Also something I am considering a reason for "YOU ARE A FAILURE." Like, "I warned you about this guy and you are all buddy buddy with him. What the bleeding eff, mate?"
  • LIAR is RAIL backwards. He has a railing cough. Yeah, I'm just pulling your leg with this one

"Return"
  • I like the theory that I read this references the entry return. While I like the theory, I have not gone back and checked the theory yet. I just may, though.

Now, as to whose house this is. After reading the tweet I am leaning toward Alex's house. Even though I was starting to be swayed that it may be Tim's place, and even though Tim is apparently a liar I don't feel that the Tweet makes much sense in those cases. It wasn't outraged "We got broken into." It was "What the f**k is this shit?" Would also make sense as to why we only saw a silhouette. If they are acknowledging this video on Twitter, then they would have to react to Hoodie blatantly showing Alex.

I was kind of brewing a theory that it is Tim's place and Alex is laying in wait for them for when they return, but again if it is known that they saw the video, that would make no sense at all. Maybe Alex could also be a burglar in Tim's place, but that seems like an odd tangent.

I do feel that the tape is going to be something they get from their next run-in with Alex. May even be the final entry.

This.

Brian and Seth have also both had appearances in Season 3.

In fact, even though we haven't seen him in present-day footage, Brian is mentioned numerous times throughout the series and he's present in A LOT of the 2006 tapes.

In a series where every little detail is important, it's sort of a big deal to completely forget about two important characters.
