The question still remains: Who's Hoodie??? At this point in the series should we really care about who hoodie is? There are definitely other problems that seem more important, such as Alex or Tim running out of pills. Jay is pretty much being Operated. Finally, Tim, the technology inefficient character, is handling twitter...

To find the answers to these questions, tune in every bi-yearly in the next exciting entry of MAAAR-BLE HORNEEEEEEEEETS

Edit: PAGE KING!!

theory

Okie dokie I think that yes, this was Tim's house. Hoody went there because he ran out of pills and needs to bum some off Tim. As we know, Tim and Jay have been bopping around trying to stay one step ahead of Alex. But Alex has decided to not try to follow them at all: Tim will have to go home at some point. So Alex has been lying in wait in Tim's attic, having broken in earlier. Hoody also breaks in and is trying to be quiet as he steals pills. He was not quiet enough. Alex heard something and came down, but realized that it was not Tim and Jay coming home. Alex suspects that our elusive friend Hoody is still at large and may have had the same idea. As Tim and Jay are not home, it is safe to turn on the lights briefly in the interest of finding the intruder quickly. Hoody escapes. Hoody is cryptic as always, but he posted this as a warning to Tim and Jay: Alex is waiting for you. And he's got a tape. But not the gun, Hoody has that.

Tim should call the cops and tell them he's out of town but a neighbor called him and said that someone was in the house. Smile

This is definitely Rosswood. I think that rules out Jay and Tim in the present day. (It could have been recorded before they left. Hoody seemed to expect Alex when he came in Entry #68, so perhaps this entry was filmed before then, and Hoody's discovery of the messed up bedding was evidence that Alex had been there recently.) Edit: To be more clear, Alex finds Hoody's hideout and takes his pills. Hoody realises this and heads over to his source: Tim's house. When looking for pills in the box he finds a tape that Tim was hiding from Jay.

The failure comment must refer to Jay/Tim, either for failing to take one of Alex's tapes, or failing to show one of the tapes that they have. Edit for crazy guessing: Perhaps that tape somehow incriminates Tim or Jay and shows that they were implicated in the 2006 attacks.

I think Hoody is telling Jay and Tim that he's not immortal and that he's getting dangerously close to no longer being helpful to them, or perhaps no longer alive. They need to move fast if they're going to stop the operator.

Hoody got access to Jay's account again, and presumably Jay gave Tim this password. Is Tim/Masky speaking to Hoody behind the scenes?

Edit to add: Keeping the pill bottles could be a way of marking how many pills have been taken. If the pills have no labels on them, and there are memory gaps, then this may be the only way to keep track of how many have been taken.

If this really is Tim's house, and that really was Alex coming out of the attic, then this entry makes more sense to me. Hoodie was snooping around Tim's house for pills when suddenly a wild Alex appeared. Hoodie is showing Team Jam that Alex is creeping around in Tim's house, and that it could be unsafe to return. Although what Alex thought he would find in Tim's house is a mystery to me. Leaving that tape could have been a bad move on Hoodie's part though. I wonder if it was Tim's or Alex's? Is Tim still keeping secrets from Jay?

I just had an idea.

When people thought it was Alex hiding in that building, they had that... slightly odd theory of Amy being up in the attic.

What if, and this is going pretty far out there, If Jay and Tim are hiding out there, and that WAS Jay checking the attic, I think that it is a possibility that Jay ties Tim up there when he gets all "Masky" like.

Again, it's out there.

I think there might not be anything more to hoody's actions than he's crazy, walks around, hides guns and pills in random places, breaks into people's houses, sleeps, and drinks water. One of the characters is going to start following him, and that'll be his daily routine. No rhyme or reason to it, he's just off his nut.

Maybe, I dunno... If he is crazy he's the kind of crazy who survives. Who knows what Hoody has seen and learned; he certainly knows things about Alex and El Operator that Jay and Tim don't. He's stealing pills and packing heat and sleeping on filthy mattresses in burnt down shacks but he's not dead and he's doing whatever he can to keep it that way.

Personally, i like your theory. i do.

but i cant shake the feeling that alex isnt the issue right now.

and jay might be starting the pills... after 72, i'd say he might be starting them.

I also cant shake the notion that it's tim's home.

Alex is always a threat. but i think this is a point where other things need to happen first before we see him again.

Don't rule out tim and jay in normal current time. They may have retreated to tim's place in rosswood after the last "incident". Jay needed help and there's someone in rosswood who could help him.

The failure could mean we missed something. Which is always a problem.
usually a TTA font thing like that is pertinent to us and to the characters. maybe its directed at Hoody or tim or jay or all three. it could be directed at us. we. dont. KNOW. and thats the fun of it.

Hoody has always been able to crack the passcodes.
so thats nothing new. Also, this seems more TTA-like to me.

I won't say much, I can't say much really, but I have a feeling that the story will take a completely different turn than everybody is suspecting.

1) Jay and Tim are getting closer to finding answers. They've knocked out a lot of side evidence and narrowing things down to finding Alex and answering what I believe to be the most important question; what happened during the filming of Marble Hornets which somehow released TO?

2) Hoody's role in the story has severely diminished, he now no longer seems to be the ominous, possible threat lurking in the background. As far as his resources are concerned, he's spent. He's brought back to the point of walking the streets, almost as if he can no longer hold the game up any longer. All thoughts regarding Hoody being "vulnerable" are on the mark, but these aren't the main points to take out of Hoody's video. The video is a reveal - smoke and mirrors up. Hoody is done lurking, out in broad daylight. He doesn't even care about Alex, sneaking into (what is most likely) his apartment.

Suffice to say, we are nearing a confrontation. Everyone is predicting a "well now they break in and steal the tape then we watch the tape," but if that house is Alex's, it's higher on their priority list to actually confront Alex than steal from him. There were only so many tapes used during the filming for MH and they have to run out sometime. A great many are in possesion of Jay, many more were burned and later found by Jay, and Alex has made many attempts to destroy as many as possible, leaving only that one tape (with perhaps a few more) holding the answers that we are asking for.

A confrontation is a more likely option at this point. Everything is building up to it. The loose ends are now all being tied up, one at a time; Hoody is done, the last of Alex's hints are being cleaned up, TO's presence is strong in Jay's mind ("it's out there" Entry #72) and there is no where else for the story to go but forward.

This entry seems fairly straightforward to me, and several people already have outlined the main points.

So, now that the dynamic duo is on the run, Hoody no longer has an easy access to the drugs that helps him keep the operator's influence at bay. He's obviously getting desperate enough to share this weakness with Jay and Tim. He's still attempting to manipulate our main characters actions to a degree - he needs them.

Possible double meaning of the hidden message in the title... "return".
Could mean "I (Hoody) returned to Tim's home to find more meds" and also a plea/warning to Tim and Jay.... "Return here. Alex is here, a tape is here, and I need more medication." But if that is indeed Alex creeping about, didn't he just tip him off by posting this? If Alex is still checking their channel, which I'm sure he would be if he were trying to find them.

It's pretty obviously Tim's house (the single frame flash of Tim, the wooden box, old pill bottles, etc). I also liked how they revisited a couple of locations. The spillway bridge where we saw Jay filming right after he woke up with amnesia, and the walkway he spotted Tim lighting a cig at the very end of season two. It's building a more coherent map of the area.

Is that tape one of Tim's? Could he have been withholding tapes from Jay the same way Alex did?

Well if it is Tim's house then the tape in the wooden box could be the chest cam footage from the last entry. Maybe hoody put it back because he knows it will be uploaded anyway? idk but this does kind of pisses me off. They couldn't have been more specific about whose house it is?

Couldn't be as GoPro's take SD and microSD cards, not DVC tapes.

Well, at least we know Hoody's caucusian.

Oh WAIT Smile

On a more serious note, I rather enjoyed this entry. We got plenty of tease, the return of Alex (haven't got time to rewatch the entry, fellahs, sorry - but the silhioute at the curtain seemed to confirm it was him) and Hoody's home invasion and the arrival of Alex was TERRIFYING.

I don't understand the compliant about the lack of reveal concerning Hoody's identity, as it seemed pretty clear since late season two that his identity was going to be one of the series long running mysteries. I doubt we'll learn his identity (but might be able suss it out) in an entry or two before the conclusion of the series and it isn't - (and Troseph haven't really teased out the possibilities to his/her identity yet )- and we'll just have to enjoy the ride until then, IMO.

New Entry, yay!

Ok, I've been rewatching the entries yesterday and I am pretty sure this is Tim's house, but the front part (whe had seen the back part of it when Hoody first entered). Those are the same kind of windows and house shape, it has the wooden box and as someone has noticed in tumblr http://alexkralie.tumblr.com/post/55144322951/did-you-guys-notice-the-keyboard-leaning-against, the keyboard they use in Entry #54 (not saying is the same house of that Entry, but it makes sense for Tim to get his keyboard with him, when he moved), also the amount of empty bottles. Tim's house seemed pretty messy and untidy. I'm pretty sure that Tim is disorganised due to his state and I think he wouldn't bother to throw the bottles away when they're empty.

Has anybody thought that maybe Hoody wasn't just asking for help showing his weakness, but telling Jay that he must also take the pills, like "Those pills are not just a Tim's matter, all of us need them".

Also, I was pretty convinced that the person going downstairs from the attic was Alex and that he may be hiding in Tim's face, but the more I see the figure in the window, the more it reminds me Jay's shape. Maybe Tim has convinced Jay to go and visit his doctor?
I'm just confused.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I don't know which character he was supposed to be, but I'm pretty sure it was Troy's body.

Also, about the Hoody's identity: I didn't expect to see who Hoody is in this Entry, and I prefere it like that. I don't know, I'm used to not know who is he, so I think we won't know his identity until he is completely fucked or until the end of the series. I think he still has some sort of control over what's going on, but he is losing it little by little.

I hope we get any twitter messagge from Tim or Jay commenting something about this, or the next Entry being uploaded in a week or so?[img][/img]
