Hey guys, I was involved in TIMM years ago. Completely forgot my username/password. I'm really excited about this, but don't think it's really related to TIMM. Here was one of TIMM's last comments:

Quote:
There's nothing more beautiful than function! A friendly instructional to help citizens move is wonderful, but what if a whole world were crafted the same way ... precise, overwhelming, and playful? Let's explore new cities! What happened before? Reserve a table for five, and hit the dance floor when we're done.

It's obvious what this now means, isn't it? Bear Stearns Bravo is that new world.

Should we consider moving all the BearStearnsBravo/Bravo.net/Horse_ebooks to it's own thread? Seeing as this is no longer strictly 77days, and there appears be more than enough content to warrant it.

I kind of agree. This seems HUGE and super well thought out.

yes and no. Yes, start a thread for BSB when it launches. Leave Horse_ebooks alone, since it is ending.
from the NewYorker article wrote:

They will also launch ... a choose-your-own-adventure interactive-video piece called Bear Stearns Bravo.

Bear Stearns Bravo has launched. It's hilarious.

At worst, a Synydyne 'forum' in which to move the threads for each of their projects, in case there are cross-connections. *shrug*

Three private videos from that same weird trailer account. Found while browsing facepunch. Haven't really gone over them yet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drAh8o9scKk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REJ-2dfp8QM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0rz9PuDH-g

Edit:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
New Codes from vids:
riw7di4iv11vvg7q
f29hvoeckbmx3bjo
e8tvk191qzdcassq
I'm a crap code-breaker, so any help here would be hot.

Also, did anyone notice that the site says copyright 1995 Synydyne?

Also, the main address seems to be for some sort of all day gallery show today, but
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
there's also another address from the terms page which leads here:
http://goo.gl/maps/DL94z
Doesn't exactly look like a real business.

Edit again:
Also, from the video,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Henri mentions that he'd been in the auditorium before, and that he looked under seat 5f and it sort of blew his mind. What do you suppose that's about?

I respectfully disagree, there have been references to the Champion Dynasty fund, power levels, and even direct connections with Blackstar in the video/choose your own adventure. I would say that this is in the same universe, but taking place at a different time/location.

Sorry to double post!
When Bravo.net first went online I commented on username Respectfultrader's complaint about some kind of protocol, asking if the protocols had been changed. He/She quickly responded by threatening me with some in game term I can't remember (Damn my memory!) if I asked any more questions. These comments have since been taken off of the Cowboy Cafe boards. Just thought people should know we're not alone on there!

Called the phone number three times, got three separate responses. Someone quickly read the following and hung up:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Example passages (were/with) this question.

Secrets of Successful Home Inspections.

Stress Reducers to Be Happier and Healthier.

(The last two result in e-library.net titles.)

Here. Have a few more. I found the last one to be particularly interesting.

Here's a Gawker article about where all our phone calls are going. If you heard a woman's voice, it was probably Susan Orlean from The New Yorker! Whoa! Isn't that cool?

Been calling the number as well. Here's some snippets:

I think it's just a random sentence generator. Anyone who knows something about TIMM or Horse_ebooks know about this?

As a fan of cyberpunk, Max Headroom, 90s fmv games, CYOA games and Southland Tales (and scrappy new media art collectives!) I absolutely LOVE where this has gone. It looks like it will scratch that ARG itch, but in a format that's fun, inventive, and from the looks of its satirical content, socially conscious.

Sad I missed the initial videos. Did they extend far beyond that guy in the elevator? Or was it just that.

Hope they open up payments to international residents soon so I can join in on this weird journey.

I'm in the UK too and was able to make the payment to join BravoNET.
