True, but it may fit if what people saying can be believed from the comments section of youtube links. "Someone took over the channel when the guy who voiced some of the older stuff changed into this current voice." Or something of the like, I dunno, just figured it may have something to do with things, given what the book is about.

The problem with that theory is
(WHOIS DISCUSSION)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The youtube channel was started April 14, 2010. Pronunciationbook.com was registered April 15th 2010 by Thomas Bender, the guy who did TIMM, meaning that this was likely an ARG/Storytelling event all along.

Oh I know, I'm just saying, the book was great, and the current dialog in all the youtube videos can either relate or just be a HUGE coincidence. Either way, I'll be watching this excitedly!

The video that got me on to this had a pastebin link and a google doc some other players (if we even are sure this is an ARG or some kind of chaotic fiction thing). I thought it might be related to Halo ( the constant references to Chief, and 'I have to find her system' reminded me of Cortana) but the channel started long before any E3 Halo announcements were made so..thats less likely.
Here's the link for those interested:

have to trout you on the google doc link. In a barely two page thread, mr toasty posted that link already. Also, none of that needed to be behind spoiler tags.

Has anyone who was fortunate enough to have played This is my Milwaukee, noticed any links or references to it in this? Are there similar themes or elements etc.? I want it be related, but I think that that might be coloring the way I interpret the clues we're getting.

New videos come every day at 10 AM.
Today's video:

Stressful day? Play some volleyball. Something is going to happen in 61 days.
Just throwing a few things out there, may or may not be related, but TIMM's last event was held at the Central Park volleyball courts. So... *shrug*

Hey all, Just jumping into this one. hearing about this on twitter is what got me to return to ARGs at all.
anyway something has been bugging me.
in video 76 he says "I've been trying to tell you something for 1,183 days." do you really think that every single video from the beginning have ALL been clues? or are we talking about a new record in red herrings?

^ The countdown will end after 1260 days of the account being active. 1260 days is of historical/religious significance as a sort of doomsday prophecy thing. So it's likely this was planned all along. Not to mention
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The domain PronunciationBook.com was registered one day after the youtube account was created by a known ARG creator

but even if this was planned as an ARG all along and he was just waiting until 1260 days was within reach, that doesn't mean every video he made while waiting was a clue. it could have just been to keep the account active.

I think most of them are sort of clues. These videos are not hard to make and most likley you could make a couple of months worth in a day (especially the early ones) so it would just be a case of going on and revealing one daily.
However, videos like "Gangam Style" and other pop culture ones are most likley there to attract attention to the channel.

Well the mispronunciation of regular words was common in the TIMM videos (Hamburger, Lasagna ect.) and the stylistic idea of talking about events we as the viewer has no idea about is also a carryover.
I would also point out one of the last comments the TIMM channel made was "The Volleyball tournament is finally over" suggesting some link. Mostly the only reason this is suspected is due to OOG checking of WHOIS records and e-mail digging. I think it is at least the head of TIMM if not the old team.

77 Days Hi gang. My interest perked up on this. I just ran across a quickie on Metafilter. They pointed to The Daily spot and this article:
