 		Thought I would bring this over here, in addition to the 77days forums. A small group of us have decided that we really want to work on solving the Ten Mysteries that were given closer to the beginning of the countdown. There is a lot of speculation on the narrative over there, but we wanted to be more proactive with some research and solving. So uf-ers....I give you the Ten Mysteries:

 		I sent letstalkaboutsystems a fan mail message on tumblr asking it if tumblr was the right place to be talking about systems and it responded by sending me the link to the video for " how to pronounce route."

They aren't making narrative sense per say, but some seem to reveal clues about the narrative, like assuring that Nicole is "she" who was tossed in to the ocean. Many questions about the ocean are responded to with stuff related to Nicole and vice versa.

Hey guys! Have you been paying attention?!?!?!



I've been trying to share some information with you guys. Some have read my previous posts but I've not received any valuable collaboration.
This game is much more elaborate than you guys are making it out to be. You have received TONS of information and haven't tried to make any real sense beyond trying to dream up your own scenario.
Sure, there's a cute story going on but that's just there to give context. The real information is in synchronicity and clues hidden in plain sight.
A great example of a hidden clue is the "400 tacos" phrase. Everyone wanted to focus on the bread. I didn't see anyone reference Maturo who was delivered 400 tacos to his mayoral office.
So Maturo can be added to the list of names or phrases.
Other relational words to be considered:
Paraclesus - died on sept 24 Alchemist Maturo- Beau Jackie Edgar Allan Poe(reference to macabre) Al Araaf Tycho Brache (relates to parcelsus and a comet supernova)
Darkness Finance Beau Ephemeral Macabre Upsilon Babel Metallurgy Osiris Apoptosis ROSES/ROSE/SKY The WORDS Ecclesiastes
Links between Paracelsus and other keywords:
Paracelsus and Ecclesiastes
Let's start with some basic information. Ecclesiastes was written by a man who supposedly was a ancestor of King David. The name translates into "The Gatherer" or "teacher"
This book can be found right before the book of Solomon.
When reading about Paracelsus you will find that not only was he an alchemist he also was into prophecy. You can find a copy of the 32 prophecies and their accompanying illustrations here :

If you thoroughly read through both Ecclesiastes and the prophecies something odd starts happening. Not only are the texts similar in phrasing but the subject matter is the same. It's a warning about evil men and their downfall.
But.... the similarities don't end there. These works also speak of evil men and of a rebuilding of a nation or house.
Paracelsus:
"Thou hast not had the wisdom of thy crown, but has turned against the way of the crown, and hast done much evil. A stone shall fall upon thee that will press thee hard against thy will. For thou hast shed innocent blood and wast unwilling to know that which thou shouldst have known and what belongeth to a crown. He whom thou hast despised shall visit thee from the South and from the East, ere thou canst count two or three, and having recourse to thy allies will not avail thee for they themselves will fall.'
Ecclesiastes
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; (The author is nicknamed "the gatherer")
Then I returned, and I saw vanity under the sun. (Vanity is a theme between both works)
****For out of prison he cometh to reign; whereas also he that is born in his kingdom becometh poor.!!!! (The guy we are trying to help is in a prison of sorts)
4 For he cometh in with vanity, and departeth in darkness, and his name shall be covered with darkness.
5 Moreover he hath not seen the sun, nor known any thing: this hath more rest than the other.
Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?
7 All the labour of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
Okay, I need a break. I'll start on Why I have Edgar Allen Poe in my list when I get back.

Poe, Tycho Brache, Robert Browning, Paracelsus and comets:

Tycho Brahe:
Rudolf II, Holy Roman Emperor, Tycho built a new observatory in a castle in Benátky nad Jizerou, 50 km from Prague, and worked there for one year. The emperor then brought him back to Prague, where he stayed until his death. Tycho received financial support from several nobles in addition to the emperor, including Oldrich Desiderius Pruskowsky von Pruskow, to whom he dedicated his famous "Mechanica". In return for their support, Tycho's duties included preparing astrological charts and predictions for his patrons on events such as births, weather forecasting, and astrological interpretations of significant astronomical events, such as the supernova of 1572 (sometimes called Tycho's supernova) and the Great Comet of 1577.[42]
Rudolph is mentioned by Paracelsus.*
Tycho Brahe links to Poe in the form of the poem "Al Araaraf"

Roses Roses Roses!!! Paracelsus refers to roses more than anything I can find. This also links back to Ecclesiastes in the form of another book called "A Rose for Ecclesiastes"..!!

This poem is amazing. It also reads very similar to Paracelsus' writing style.
And again with the "star" "The star which prompted Poe to write "Al Aaraaf" was believed to foretell disaster or that humanity would be punished for breaking God's laws"

 		While I admire your extensive research--and boy is it thorough!--and while it may be valuable in the long run, none of that ancillary information really coalesces into anything worthy of action at this point.

We are still waiting, at the end of the day, for a countdown to the real introduction, the real reveal.

That's why people seem to be quite content just waiting for now. After all, it could be Half-Life 3 related (pleasepleaseplease), and Ancient Greek soothsayers and holy texts don't factor much into that mythology.

Someone's death falling on the date of the countdown, relations to prophecy tropes and linking commonalities between the names mentioned also seems a little too free-associative to me.

The game has been chugging along. There's no big reveal that's going to move this thing along.

What you call ancillary information is actually the real game. You folks just want to be handed an answer. You haven't even tried to understand what is being said.

All the information I've provided is from the correlation of keywords given from the tumblr replies and within the tumblr posts themselves.

There's another story you aren't reading and it's hidden in the distant past.

I kind of agree with you, but as Atro said above there's plenty of discussion on the 77days forum.

Now, I'm kind of worried. Reciting all these speeches and words, and then ending with a poem... doesn't it seem a little like the end of a movie before a really important character dies? My suspicion is that the narrator is dying, and trying to reach out the only way he knew how, only at this point he's accepted his fate ("I understand") and as sort of a last goodbye he's leaving us with this poem.

Should we be trying to save him? We've only got 2 days.

Then it would really come down to what we could do to save him. There are no giant puzzles that need to be solved (that I can see), and if asking the ltas tumblr is supposed to get us somewhere, then people have not been asking the right questions, because there has been zero new items of knowledge gained from that. At first I really believed the 10 Mysteries were key, but after HOURS of research, I have concluded that I can't seem to find clear enough answers to say that they are solved for sure. I just can't see the way forward in this case. I really hope things are not going to end after the countdown!

Edit again: And what do we suppose is the significance of Let's Talk About Systems? I mean yes, it functions as a way for Tom Bender or whoever else is behind the game to sort of peek out from behind the curtain, but what extra information are we getting that adds to the game?

It has not really led to any new info at all. There have been a few messages that have rounded out some theories, but nothing concrete sadly. You've see the doc, correct?

Yeah, I've seen it. Of everything on there, the most promising thing in my eyes seems to be that when someone tried communicating by forming sentences with the youtube pronunciation links themselves, they got back the pronunciation vid for "Better"

Maybe the whole tumblr's just another puzzle to solve with a specific solution?
