 		It's me, again. I am still compiling info and screen shots for my next "dissection" post and will edit this when I accomplish that, but while viewing the latest footage of our protagonist, I noted that Randall was wearing a t-shirt that said "Legend Has It". I wonder if it is referencing the movie of the same name wherein a young film crew investigates the unexplained brutal murders of a family of 4 at their farmhouse.

If it IS referencing that, then I guess Randall found out the hard way that watching a horror movie and actually being the main character in one IRL is not as fun as it sounds in the brochure.

On a side note, the Joyce Manor "The Void" t-shirt that Randall is wearing in Log 13 when he is newly arrived home from his adventure and subsequent hospital stay, I thought was a nice touch *thumbs up*.

 		gotta agree, watching a horror flick while being the main victim in one is never and i repeat... NEVER fun.

I thought it was a great little easter egg for that reason, such a great correlation. Wink I agree about the camera and it always tickles me that in the first Log we see Randall filming himself in the mirror with it and exclaiming to himself how awesome and "Pro as Hell" it looks.


I was just going over more early footage where the 3 meet at Parker's house for the first time and I scooted over here really quick to mention something I keep meaning to (but keep forgetting): In H.P. Lovecraft's "The Call of Cthulhu" the name of the ill-destined ship was "Emma" and one of the eleven crew members was named "Parker". There is a shit ton of clever references and easter eggs, I find a new one almost every time I review something.

Me,too! So much so that when I first started watching this series and reading Henry's Twitter, I thought perhaps I was just reading into it too much and seeing Lovecraft references when they weren't really intentional.
But, at this point, there is NO DOUBT. The creator(s) is def a Lovecraft fan!

Hi Pandaren! I wanted to let people know that I have been side-lined due to major internet problems that I have been experiencing on my ISP's end. So, unfortunately, I am not able to do much of anything right now in terms of uploading or anything extensive until things get resolved.

I have a bunch of screen grabs on my Google Drive and other notes and things, but I have to abandon things for now Bang Head Evil or Very Mad

So, very quickly, the biggest thing I want to re-iterate is we are dealing with truly Eldritch Lovecraftian entities -- right from the beginning. When he sees the frog in the woods, the thing I posted recently, and everything relating to the water/ocean, including several bodies of water, and also when Randall saw the seaweed where it shouldn't be.Which are shades of Cthuhu and possibly Shadow Over Innsmouth things (Fishfaces and The Cult/Order of Dagon).

I am sooo pissed right now because I wanted to do a blow-out post for Halloween and I have been turning dozens of people on to this series and I feel now is a crucial point in Randall's narrative and also feel that our narrator is going to maybe have some consequences soon.


Anyway, just wanted to drop in quick while I had a connection and let folks know. Hope everyone is enjoying their Halloween/Autumn/Rocktober season!

And to you as well! I'm really sorry you're having problems with your internet...trust me, it SUCKS! I hope you get it solved soon! I love your analysis, and I think the West Records dude liked that you're analyzing it, as well! I'll try to do what I can in breaking it down, but my laptop is crap!

I hope it continues, as well. On a good note:My internet is back. Saw that Henry made a new Tweet on the 27th that said simply "A Good Day". I just tweeted a reply asking what was good about it and if there were any notable findings on the hidden partition of the hard drive he found not long ago.
Now we wait....

I will wait to post anything right now to see if he has anything significant so I can tie those things into my summary.

All right bitches, shit just got REAL!! Holy fuck! Came home after work and found a shit ton of Tweets from Henry, and it would appear that, as I suspected, he is now succumbing to The Madness.
I am going to try to post his Tweets as they appear online, but I might just have to quote them:There are also 2 (so far) Vine vids that I am trying to decipher. I wanted to post this as a placeholder. I will now begin my edit.

I don't normally use Twitter, and copy paste is gonna be a lot of work, so here are the screen caps of the Tweets (minus the vines):It starts at the bottom of the first where it says "A Good Day" and ends with "Test 2"







So, apparently Henry was having phone problems and his Twitter pic changes to outside a Sprint store in a parking lot.I am not sure about how to post Vines, and I cannot describe them atm because I am on a browser that is limiting me, but I will remedy that shortly. I just wanted to at least post something. I also will post in a bit about my thoughts and feelings regarding all this, but for the moment I will say that it appears that Tuesday November 3rd, some shit is gonna go down, so our BODIES NEED TO BE READY!! Very Happy

2nd edit: I'm gonna go on and say this now: I am having a strange feeling that Henry and Randall may be one and the same. After viewing what I could catch on the longer Vine, I am seeing things that seem to maybe confirm something I have been suspecting for some time -- except I am not sure how it would be, but in the realms of the Eldritch and Strange Eons, I suppose anything can be....

I don't normally go on Facebook, but on a whim I jumped over there really quick just now to TWR page and the latest post says "Every life has to have an ending. November 3rd." So, as I feared, either we will experience Randall's/and/or Henry's death, or something very near that.I noted that in the Tweets "cancerous" is mentioned and also "Test 291".
*Sigh* I am more emotional about this than I thought I'd be... this story and its characters have affected me in a way I cannot describe...

Man, when I went back to see about somehow d/l the Vines and then saw what Henry posted and things were "back to normal" I about died! And then I was sad cuz all this EPIC shit was happening and I didn't have anyone to speculate with.
I had a feeling we were in Endgame and it would appear I was correct. As far as the Vines go, one was literally only two seconds and it just showed some landscaping stones and bushes outside the storefront, like if you were recording and didn't know it. The other one was at the very most, nine seconds and it was taken as if someone was sitting in the driver's seat of the car and maybe smacking their phone in frustration for some reason. All I saw was the dash and steering wheel and blurry legs.

I am assuming, as I speculated earlier, that they were more for "affect/effect" and that they served their purpose, so the Creator took them down, as they were of no real consequence. As savvy as the creator(s) of this series is, I cannot see them removing any content that was monumentally of any import, ultimately.

Now, about that screenshot of the creature -- I agree! When I finally realized what I was looking at, I was like "OH, SHIT!" RIP Randall. I hope Randall makes it, but I am not counting on it. I am torn between being glad that a series actually comes to a conclusion ( because so many don't) and being sad/bummed that so many missed it and there is SO MUCH there.

OOG: I see that TWR now has 425+ subscribers on YouTube and it's just now getting some of the recognition it deserves. I have been telling scores of people about this series, and it appears that maybe some people actually checked it out. I have in the past touted a few other series that were not as well-known, but at least they were in the "Slender Man" area here on Unfic, so they had that going for them, but this series gets almost no love and I have to say that as a creator myself, my hat is off to this creator because it must be sooo frustrating to create something so quality and barely get any recognition. I have MUCH RESPECT.

I don't know if "it" posted it, but it seems that Randall/ and/or Henry has something literally controlling him, not only Randall physically, (as we've seen , especially with the most recent Log and him literally excising something from his hand. It seems that Henry may not be physically affected (yet) but is definitely mentally under "IT'S" thrall at times.
There are so many instances that I am never sure where the line is, and if what we see on what Henry posts is exactly as it was to begin with (minus cutting it down and making it coherent/cohesive) and what is added by Henry after the fact, that he may not even be aware of. One good example is at the end of the Log wherein Parker starts teleporting all over the place and at the end he hears "himself' and he's screaming "No! You're NOT ME! SHUUUT UUUPP!" at the very end not long after that there is text down in the bottom right corner that says "Welcome back.."
That's one of the reasons why I've never been quite sure who Henry is and where the line is, especially NOW. He's been a fairly reliable/coherent narrator so far, but is obviously not one now. Not because he himself is willfully deceitful, but because there is something controlling him that he seems to be unaware of.

Well, these are ALL relevant questions that you ask, and we may never know. There are at least two iterations of Randall and Parker. And I am guessing The Kraken is a reference to Cthulhu (albeit more subtle).

I don't think we are ever going to get any 100% definitive answers about anything, and I believe that is by design.
