Smoke gets in your eyes? Fits right into the theme of the missing agent/project thing.
Just chiming here. Can't wait to play.

There is a piece of paper on the main site asking "Who is the artist?", which makes me wonder if "platters" or something related might be the user name...?

On the postcard received by ARGNet, the top left says, "Blackhollow Point, England 1940 - Painted by J. C[something]."
Any chance we could get a scan of that instead of a photo?

Not sure if y'all saw this or not. I guess it just contains what was found in the package. Found it as I was going through the source code
Edit: never mind. Found it was on the front page once I actually got on the computer and not my cell
Listening to the mp3. Nothing of too much importance. Seems like USB drives may fit into the game but who knows?

The tumblr's ask box is enabled -- intentionally?

Sorry it's been a very long time, don't want to make a faux pax here by this.
But I think that The Artist is a character in the plot. Since it seems to follow along with the Mechanic mentioned as the person they were after and the Spy who signs the postcard.

Good point!
Dramatis Personae (thus far)
The Spy
The (Quantum) Mechanic
The Mathematician
The Artist
The Spy may be the OSS agent assigned to Archimedes mission and/or the lighthouse keeper.
The number on the Mechanic's OSS ID badge is 2319, the same as the folder we're redirected to from the splashpage. Other ID #s = other folders?
Can anyone help transcribe the letter from the Mechanic that's to the left of the after-action reports notebook?

I tried cleaning up the note a little and making it black and white to see if I could make much more out.
This one looks right up my alley though, I'll definitely be following it

Hey guys I've been lurking for a bit, I'm still kinda new to all this. but I think I've figured out what the letter says for the most part. I uploaded it into Paint Tool Sai and used my pen and tablet to trace over the lettering that way it could be read without the worn texture of the paper and any other smudges getting in the way.

Has anyone played with the dots on the "After-Action Reports" page?
Has anyone played with the 2 codes given in the phone message from the phone number? I need a copy of that audio file.

For those that missed the number 202-630-2773
Also
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The record plays Nat King Cole "smoke gets in your eyes" and there is the cover for the Platers. both are from the late 50's/early 60's after the OSS was disbanded.
Anyone know the quantum fragment identifier number and handle?

ARGFest connection! Wheeeee... there will be plenty of feet on the ground if anything goes down, or needs to be picked up. Definitely no worries there!
