Did a quick page on The Mechanic and had no problem with saving.

ETA: However I also realized that it made one run on sentence LOL Must fix that.

I had the same problem with the one long sentence. Let us know if you find the formatting answer.

I just ended up hitting enter twice. It's not pretty but it's not one giant sentence. Smile

Thanks Tenshi about the twice enter. By the way, I think your entry in the wiki looks great. I wonder if we might later include "possible or likely" items, such as the Mechanic's name may refer to the OSS security badge 2319 identified as Quantum Mechanic on the Blackhollow Project page.

Thanks! Smile

Yeah I just wanted to get the things we knew for sure down first. I also realized while typing it out... we don't even know for sure that The Mechanic is a dude LOL Just assuming because of the time frame.

One would assume so but has that actually been confirmed yet? I think there may be more to the Mechanic than we may think. I have made some inquiries but the Mechanic has not yet answered them.

Not sure it could be the Operative as it is on his desk.

And unfiction once again drops the ball on notifications; I totally missed the last two pages of posts >_<

I'll go through the wiki this weekend likely and add what I can. I'll also be spending most of the day checking out the tumblr for the location clue to go live. Hopefully it won't be as late as last week.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I think the issue with last week being so late and that is wasn't a clue, was that the PM's might have been having issues with either the drop itself or the puzzle. Here's hoping they don't run into anything again Smile

Sharper eyes then me Lobo! I did not even see that Smile

Still would want to confirm that it's him before putting it up on the wiki.

Well we got confirmation LOL

Quote:
tenshiakui asked: On the desk there is an OSS badge, is that yours?

Indeed. I don't look quite so young anymore, I'm afraid, but yes.

He also responded to another question (not sure who from) that got a very interesting answer.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
saucybagles1014 asked: New to the hunt, an must admit. i confused as to the nature of the fragments them selves. you stated that they are "prices of broken realities" and that "the existing space is rewritten" from where do the converge from? you your self stated that the existing information cannot be destroyed however. a more exact knowledge of these working may be most beneficial

I completely agree. A more exact knowledge would be incredibly beneficial. Alas, we may truly never know the true nature of the universe.

However, we can continue to attempt to understand reality, and do our best to explain it.

When I said "existing information cannot be destroyed," I was trying to convey the theory that, despite what the digital age has taught us, reality, when discussed in reference to the time device, is not simply over-written. It can be, of course. But simple, it is not.

What we may be currently seeing is destroyed information crossing from a "reality" to a "perceived reality." The way I enjoyed describing it many years ago was "as a mirror," however, that description seems less than ideal now. Still, it will work.

Finally, what complicates my theorizing on these matters is this: The most recent audio log. March 8, 1943, I clearly hear a whisper towards its end, yet it clearly (to my ears, at least) seems that those words were somewhat out of context, in a sense. Perhaps in correct context, considering what happened at Rennes, but clearly not something said at that moment, on March 8, 1943.

If you are further interested in the subject, some light reading on the Holographic Principle would serve you well, if only to broaden your knowledge of the subject.

Anyone got any update tidbits?

I'm suspecting I'll be visiting a trainyard soon, but trying to guess a trainyard location in Atlanta is like trying to guess the right hot dog cart in NYC.

No notice as of yet. Why do you think it's a train station?

(I don't exactly want to read 4 pages of French historical war wiki right now) The Rennes painting was of a cathedral, and the "Forgive me, for I have sinned" fits that context better.

Just got this on the tumblr

Quote:
Standby for information regarding Fragment #04 (yes, I realize I have not used this naming convention thus far, but the lack of a preceding zero has been haunting me).
