No need for Chicago hunters :(

Latest message on the blog:

We have been fortunate, in that while I have said many times to not assume anything in regards to the timing of the fragments crossing over, I have not considered (publicly, at least) the specifics of location. The QFDA has detected these fragment locations, each seemingly enough out of reach of the masses to remain for you to retrieve.

The QFDA notified me of the location late last night. By this morning (or, the morning of the eastern coast of the United States, not my morning), I had information that the fragment was no longer in its location.

Thankfully, I have the usual images that the QFDA delivers on the crossover, which I will post soon, but I am still disappointed that it was not one of you to retrieve it, who have been helping so graciously, and frankly, quite disappointed in its location (which was nothing more than bad luck, of course.)

Images to come later in the day. I am sorry about this bad news.

Wow, I wonder if there will be a new Fragment (09) drop this weekend?

Oh my. The contents of a fragment box would certainly bewilder the uninitiated. I'll have to check the local papers for breaking news on WWII...

Hmm, a large block wrapped in cellophane... I wonder what the finder thought they were getting? Confused

COOL!
Maybe a fragment will suddenly re-appear here in Orlando. There were over a dozen Military bases in Central FL, during WWII. Most lasting all of the way up into the 90s. Later including SAC bases, secret missile silos disguised as barns on a farm, and U-2 recon for Cuba. Not to mention space rockets.

ARGs frequently skip Orlando and when they do show up they usually land at UCF for the collage students that have no clue but are willing to take the free swag and not do anything with it. Orlando is always in the news be cause it has become such a major city. BTW George Zimmerman just started as my pool guy.

I didn't think of square grouper. They were really disappointed then.

with fragment 8 now up. Nice images but I am wondering about the June 10th recording. I believe there is a message in want is made to sound like record scratches. At first I thought it might be morris code but the noise was not defined. It was more irregular to where it is more likely to be voices and in need of some serious audio adjustment. I will leave this to others here with the mad skills that have worked on other audio files.

Just fyi,

JeepPrincess of Pittsburgh sent me fragment #7.

The box appears bigger in the pictures, it's actually only 8" x 6" by 2".

Still cool ! Smile Very Happy
