Dallas up next? - new post from the Mechanic

From the Mechanic:

"Hmm. An interesting development.

As I divulged late last week, Fragment 12 + 13 were due to crossover simultaneously (or near simultaneously), and we found those two fragments later to be tied to the locations of Malmo, Sweden and Copenhagen, Denmark, thanks to the astute observations of many of you.

Now, the interesting development is that, all of that still appears to be the case. However, another fragment, which we'll confusingly designate Fragment 14, is on the verge of a crossover, in a much more imminent fashion than the other two, which still appear to be a bit off. Perhaps the two fragments are imprinting a stronger signal in the QFDA.

At any rate, a fragment will be appearing in an area near Dallas, Texas, within days. More information to come soon."

Dallas drop is going down tomorrow but looks to be different than previous missions. I have a friendly agent who will be there. Either he or I will report back tomorrow.

My brother actually lives close by to the drop, so let me know if I should draft him into service (or if you'd be up for a team effort Smile

The Dallas Makerspace seems to be members only, except on Thursdays (according to a Yelp post). Looks very interesting, I must say. Still, this whole thing with postponed Copenhagen/Malmo drops and all seems bit odd.

Sure! My agent will be arriving at ~11:50 with his kids and driving a Toyota with the logo missing on the trunk. Apparently the weather is pretty awful there so I hope the PM's have planned accordingly.

Re: Dallas Package Retrieved

My team (me and my two junior agents) arrived at the address promptly at Noon and began to look around. The address is actually the site of the Dallas Makerspace organization (www.dallasmakerspace.org).

We were greeted by one of the makers and given a tour of the facility. My two junior agents were eyes agape at the incredible selection of homebrew technology, mechanics, and artwork. It's packed full of gadgets and gizmos, and so it was difficult to find the artifact. After briefly being distracted by a refurbished pinball machine (show a teen a REAL pinball machine and you'll see their eyes light up!), my junior agent found the artifact hidden away by the biology section of the makers workshop.

I will post pictures of the discovery shortly!

Still Active?

Complete newbie here. I've spent the last three says reading every page of the forum and all of discover.black hollow project.

Excited to dive in and help -- is there a reason no one has looked into the last fragment at all? If not, I'll comb through it today!
