 		I thought about something; you know how when Jay raided Alex's house and found the entry 52 tape we all called Alex out on 'hiding' tapes from Jay? What if he didn't 'hide' it but was instead holding onto it as a memento of Brian, much like Amy's picture? Maybe, as much as he wanted to forget everything, he didn't want to forget his pal and why he was gone.

...And then sometime during the seven months Alex learned Brian is trying to kill him for Tim's sake, breaking whatever affection he had for him. >.>

 		I like this idea.

I also think that judging by the presence of a lighter next to the tape when Jay took it, that Alex was planning or working himself up to burn it after Jay found it the first time.

Would the ark also be a safe haven? Because that'd be a crazy twist. Alex was actually helping people in some warped way, & Hoody wants to ruin all of that. And now Alex wants to kill Hoody, Tim, & Jay, because he thinks they're out to ruin the whole thing.

Not sure I buy it, mind you.
