 		 The Twitter Code - Cracking Thread
There was a half-hearted trying to crack this over at the twitter thread, but I figured since it has been a few days and no one has solved it, it needs its own thread.

 		Well, I've spent some time thinking about it after today's entry (my timezone's today, anyway).
I noticed that, except for 3->7, all the numbers until the last 5 follow a +/-1, +/-2 pattern, if you count the 0 as a 10.
I graphed it because reasons:

That's all I have, just throwing it out there. The first step towards solving the code in Surveillance was finding patterns, right? Embarassed

I've been poking at this all day... If you drop the zero in a different way it could still account for the 9 with the digits both going in sequence

ie. 54,65,76,87,98,09

76 isn't used in the message, but it fills out the pattern and 09 could be represented as just 9.


What I've been working with:

65 54 37 9 - 8 87 65 --

I was kind of relying on the printed zeros being either garbage data, breaking spaces, or as a count for the letters (one of the posts in the other thread ran with the assumption that the 13 zeros signified M).

Then again... after all of that... I got nowhere... so I'm not sure dropping the zero works, and it still leaves the 37 and the 8 undefined

 		The person who called ITWASHIM got the last letter from the zeros, and I'm pretty sure he just guessed at the rest of it. Take it with an entire bucket of salt.

 		I truly think the entire code is garbage data. Most of the other codes in the series were intentionally created by totheark. This one was sent the same night that Entry #72 was shot, so like undervattensflugan said, it was probably either caused by the time-warping or the Operator encounter.

I was thinking about using an old time phone to find what letters each number correlates to: (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-eQaYYM2XPvg/T5Ku_wDKEZI/AAAAAAAAEEE/4LcuiG_yUzk/s1600/phone.jpg) is the image I found that matches an old phone I remember seeing in a TTA video; pretty sure it was 'Operator', in fact.

For the zeroes, I'm following the previous theory that the thirteen zeroes at the end = M, and using the same theory, the lone zero in the middle = A.

Sorry if that was confusing; just brainstorming. The only reason I think this could be possible is because the emphasis placed on HE is a liar in the hospital and Tim mentioning that Alex is a liar seems to point that there is a major connection to lies.

The question is whose lies?

The only other similar twitter posts in the past were when Jay found a tape in the Red tower and this code posted soon after totheark's Surveillance video. In the former, Jay says that he actually typed "found something", but it got scrambled for unknown reasons. In the latter, Jay points out that he didn't make the tweet, and it turned out to be a code using the same cipher as in the Surveillance video.

Here though, we have less information. Jay hasn't yet mentioned whether or not he is responsible for the tweet (or maybe he doesn't know). Also, time-warping and Operator encounters have happened in the past without any strange tweets. Finally, the fact that it's a string of numbers containing at least a few patterns, as opposed to a random-looking string of arbitrary characters, suggests that this might be a code of some sort.
