Ah, yep, I'm blind Laughing So, alright, I'm sticking with my interpretation of said words, barring any discordant info hidden in the other images. Also,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I've found that ravens are omnivorous. Maybe there's no Ogham/Gaelic way of saying that, so they opted with this more roundabout way? If so, it'll definitely connect to the other images somehow.

Other things I've found: "Ravens have been associated by various cultures with different qualities. In popular western literature, they symbolize darkness, depression, and death (popularized in Edgar Allan Poe's poem, 'The Raven'). In medieval times they stood for virility. Among native cultures, Raven is the 'trickster' spirit, a popular totem, and the creator of man, who placed the Sun in the sky."

"Legend has it that a raven's favorite food is the body of a dead man, or of other dead animals, and that a raven will go first for the eyes of such a fallen creature. Other tales say that ravens will hunt with wolves and share the kill with them. "

So...there's a lot of potential symbolism with these.

Just to add to the potential symbolism, ravens do show up fairly often in Irish/Celtic mythology. I have a copy of The Names Upon The Harp somewhere that tells some different stories from said mythology, including the story of Deirdre, who sees a raven in the snow, drinking the blood of a recently killed calf.

Going to wikipedia, there's this:

Quote:
In Irish mythology ravens are associated with warfare and the battleground in the figures of Badb and Morrígan. The goddess An Morrígan alighted on the hero Cú Chulainn's shoulder in the form of a raven after his death.

Ravens were also associated with the Welsh god Bran the Blessed (the brother of Branwen), whose name translates to "raven." According to the Mabinogion, Bran's head was buried in the White Hill of London as a talisman against invasion. The name of the god, Lugh, is also derived from a Celtic word for "raven." He is the god of the sun, and the creator of the arts and sciences. He is depicted as giant and the King of the Britons in tale known as the Second Branch of the Mabinogi. Several other characters in Welsh mythology share his name, and ravens figure prominently in the 12th or 13th century text The Dream of Rhonabwy, as the army of King Arthur's knight Owain.

What's interesting to note is

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Before the introduction of Christianity to the Celtic world, the Raven was not associated with darkness. It was associated with war and battle specifically in the guise of The Morrigan.

It is said that much like the Valkyries the Morrigan would fly over battle fields and choose the victor. Because of this most Celts viewed the Raven with respect.

Okay, I've got to admit, this game is cool and all and I'd love to participate fully, but the PM is starting to get on my nerves a bit. Yes, I did come in late. But they accepted my application, asked me what position I wanted, and then haven't spoken to me since, aside from some communication from Margaret Williams on skype.

As it stands now, I have no confirmation of what position I am taking. That being said, I'm not mad at the PM over this one, just...disappointed. It's not cool to make a player feel like they're getting left out.

I'll keep following along and helping with the puzzles as best I can, but there's not much else I can do until I hear something back from them. *shrug*

^^^ Yeah, the PM is bad at replying to emails...

Speaking of which, I received a new email from Drust this morning:
Dusty Drust wrote:
Anemone, wysteria and Bells of Ireland

We expect you to have understood the assignment by now, if not, I would need to teach you..

Below are the teachings you need

we love to sing
we love to shout
but if the task is not finished
we all will be out

language makes sense
in whatever form
when read in succesion
and to the norm

stripes form to curves
curves form to more
take all things literaly
and you will learn lore

use mortal wits
and all falls in place
its been told before
his tales are just ace

When found what you need
in times of despair
think well where you go
earth, water or air

then using the link
been given before
add your results
and open the door

your code is the same
you will guess it well
a codephrase you gain
and continue you shall..

Drust

Which seems to me that we are still not fully grasping the trinity knot (and I suppose the trinity here represents "earth, water or air"). But I'm at a complete loss as to what it's supposed to all mean. Some of it may conform to Gaelic but I wonder if perhaps that is just a coincidence since not all of the words do (I'm looking at you, buissoinaiche!). Perhaps they are disguised in some other way?

Here are all the bits from Ogham to the Roman alphabet.
I have marked when there was a discrepancy between my answer and Tenshi's:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Within the circle:
Buissoinaiche
Mairbhe
Itheach

Within the trinity:
Mar
Fetheach / Fiteach
Hgus / Hgun
Each
As

Perhaps we need to keep in mind also what ogham lacks, namely J, K, P, V, W, X, Y. In the previous ogham puzzle they represented W with UU so other combos may be their way of creating other sounds.

Yeah buissoinaiche was the one making it very difficult LOL

I'm at the point where I"m not sure what's next. I've poked it a few times but it still feels like we're missing something important.

Wish we could find some fresh eyes to poke at it.

I feel like it must be one of two things: it's either encrypted in some other way, or it's a made-up language. And I also can't shake off the nagging feeling that we're still missing a piece each time I stare at those blank spaces. As such, how I've been going about it is by trying to ignore the bits that are missing something still and focus on the two pieces that are complete, namely:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The circle's message of "buissoinaiche mairbhe itheach" and a portion of the trinity's message of "mar fetheach hgus" but it's all as Greek to me as anything else Dunno

And g'mornin', Grim!

I was equally puzzled by that! The only websites I know of are the two blogs (Holy and Unholy), the two Twitters (Holy and Unholy), and the Child's Ballads website. There are also the email addresses for Drust, White Rose, the Steward, and Margret Williams.
Does anyone know of any websites or "links" beyond these?
