I received it too, was just about to post it. I got number "four.jpg", I realized I couldn't do any thing with it so far though. I guess we're supposed to put them together.
Letters look Greek.

Googling eraweb just comes up with a weird deviantart who likes blood and Silent Hill, and some real estate people.

haven't been around in a good 5 years (was in high school last time i played anything, now in law school if that tells you anything) and have been lurking the last day or so. figure since this is new, i'll jump in. we have anything else?

edit: fyi, the letters definitely aren't greek

I got #4 as well. The subject line was "abyssus oris". Abyssus, according to this link is Latin for "hell, abyss, chasm". Oris doesn't have a listing there, but there's indications it could be a suffix. Sadly I have to rely on google for my foreign language information, so y'know, I am not a linguist.

I haven't replied. Don't know whether I'll be following along, I've got some stuff going on, but I'll give it a shot and see if it grabs me.

EDIT: Just pointing out that the combined image makes it look like the location is a dam, probably a famous one. I'm not exactly the most well-traveled dude in the world, so I don't recognize it right off, but comparing it to pictures of the Hoover hasn't been fruitful. I'm looking into other famous dams now to see if I can pin down a location.
