Some of the stories are in the Dream Cycle, but some are not. There is also a few that are in the Dream Cycle that are missing. Maybe there is some connection in the stories?

Well besides the fact they are all Lovecraft stories. Smile

Today's tweet:

It's a little early, but what the hell? We can have our first "contest" soon. The winner will be rewarded. Details, Wednesday, 8 AM.

So I was looking at the stories and mentioned this on twitter, but thought I'd mention it here.

All of the stories in the original list mention dreams extensively. All but one. The Battle that Ended the Century. It is the only story where the word dream does not appear even once.

Not sure if this means anything, but it is kind of interesting.

Well, in light of the fact there is to be a "contest" maybe it is relevant? And, I might add, quite weird Confused

There was a twitter Q&A this morning, it all started with this tweet.

Quote:
I have a wide range of things that interest me. You can ask something about me if I can ask something about you...

So a few of us posed questions for a question in return. I'm only going to pose the questions we asked and the answers they gave as well as the questions they gave. Our Answers arn't that important I don't think.

Quote:
Q:@Draghkar:feel free to ask, my question is: what bothers you the most.??
‏ A: Hangnails are the worst. Who has been the kindest to you in your life and how?

Q:‏@Elethamei: What are you looking forward the most in the future?
A:In the short term? November. What is your earliest memory?

Q:@Elethamei:What do you regret the most?
A:Watching the final season of Battlestar Galactica. What were you doing the first time you realized you were in love?

Q:@mightyfulcrum:What is your favourite poem?
A: It depends on the genre. What are you proudest of in your life? Then you may ask a clarifying question, if you like.

Q:@mightyfulcrum:Genre - Epic
A:You are indeed a Mighty Fulcrum then. Remember your strength in the future, others may need it. Beowulf, Seamus Heaney

Q:@mightyfulcrum:What is the thing you fear the most?
A:Not the Reaper. Tarantulas probably. Horrid, furry, spiders. What was your childhood hometown like when you were growing up?

Q:@mightyfulcrum:What moves you to tears (either of joy or sadness)?
A:Pick one.
Qsub:Sadness
A:The death of a loved one. If you could live in just one memory from your life forever, what would that be?

Q:@mightyfulcrum: Who is your hero?
A:Archduke Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. Not for what he did, but what he could have done. Many, many years from now what will your obituary highlight about your life?

Q:@mightyfulcrum: Whos story will November bring?
A:In the end? Mine.

Q:@TenshiAkui: Given the chance to change one thing in the world, what would you change?
A:I'd be in charge. When in life have you felt most alone?

Q:@TenshiAkui: Where is your dream place to travel?
A: Palau. Where were you when you met your best friend the first time?

Q:@TenshiAkui: What makes you laugh?
A:The comedy stylings of Mr. Mitchell D. Hurwitz. What story, original to you, have you always wanted to tell?

Q:@TenshiAkui: What's going to happen in November?

ASad1/2) Its not right to say something is starting, because things have been written to develop this way for a very long time.

ASad2/2) Nothing is beginning, not like a flower growing from a seed. But the next story is blossoming. Yes, thats a good analogy.

Q:@TenshiAkui: Interesting. So to keep with the plant idea, is it like the end of the harvest cycle... One ending, one begining?

A:Not exactly, each Story has its own ending, and each ending is a prequel for many Stories to come.

Q:@TenshiAkui: Much like life. A life may end but it's the prequel for the decendants that follow.

A:Now you're getting it.

Q:@TenshiAkui:So is it your story that's ending?

@shapeLITE480:The q&a was fun, but its over . Until Tuesday night, I'll answer 1 question from anyone who follows this account. Go tell your friends.

Tell me what this says: http://bit.ly/13DWKPK

First person to send a DM with the correct answer will get their reward within two weeks.

Which takes you to the below image on Flickr of ShapeLITE's hero metioned in the Q&A above. The second image showed up when I went to TinEye, it looks like a DNA test result

The image must be part of that original picture, (sorry it is soooo very tiny!)I'm sure someone can find and enhance it better than I can?

EDIT: Ignore that second image, I think it's just a bunch of icons from the page: http://l.yimg.com/g/images/flickr-sprite.png.v5 Rolling Eyes

Yes, it's pretty confusing. First we were sent the link to Jeremy Nigellus' flickr page:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/99754292@N08/9506545350/sizes/o/in/photostream/

And that just had the plain photo of Archduke Ferdinand.

Then, we got another tweet:

Quote:
Some of you have already gotten quite close. For a handful, the file is, for some reason, corrupted. Here: http://bit.ly/1bSLwaf

And that send us to shapeLITE480's own flickr page:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/100589461@N03/9563873536/sizes/o/in/photostream/

Was this PM error or something on purpose?

So we're supposed to translate that Cyrillic?

EDIT
I translated it as
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
TRAITOR
and DMed that to shapeLITE.
