I would like to emphasize the change of cameraman and interrogator to Tim. I think part of Jay's reaction is shame... He has fallen from grace in full view of the internet/viewers. Youtube and Twitter exist in game. I think he's "being a dick" because he's humiliated and thus trying to be defensive. And if he really doesn't remember and hasn't seen the footage from 72 or 73, he's totally disoriented and basically anyone would be defensive in that situation... Which makes me think back to Entry 49, that's the "Bruce" murder right? Alex maybe didn't even remember where he was, why he had come there, even in the moment... He was technically very close to a source of the SlenndyEMP affect that we're settling on (through evidence of pills, distortion, memory loss), so maybe when TO is near they panic because they can't even remember where they are or why they came there. Remember Hoody and Tim luring Alex to the woods, and then fleeing once they had him pinned? Or 68 where they had a gun to his head? TO appears and they flee despite having apparent time to finish him first.

This also perhaps explains why they keep returning to the dangerous zones.... They have no memory of what happened, but are aware SOMETHING happened and the lack of remembering slowly but surely drives them mad. TO doesn't do anything but appear, the boys then go nuts and do wild shit. This explains that, and why they all just keep ending up wanting to go into bad situations. They all want answers.

Maybe Alex bonked Tim and Brian because he thought the other had lured him into a trap, while Tim and Brian assumed Alex led them to a trap... When really, the arrival of TO just causes panic that over time causes the paranoia. Obviously the footage we have only further fuels the speculated motives based on RANDOM GLIMPSES that we see, completely out of order. This also explains Entry 22, where he genuinely is left with only Seth, no idea what's going on, and only one place to go for answers. When TO appears and Alex can't remember why he's in the basement with Seth, he bonks him, grabs the tape and bails. Later, has no idea what happened. Not unlikely, remember Jay grabbed Alex's door key on instinct when fleeing TO in 46.

Now that Tim is filming Jay instead of the other way around, and now that they've established that those under influence of the pills can keep their wits about them in the presense of TO, this next encounter involving possibly EVERY major survivng character in the series will be an EXTREMELY interesting, scary, plot driven Entry.

Okay, without reading any other replies:

1) Didn't expect a new Entry this soon; I think we're closing in on the endgame.

2) Confirmed; it WAS Tim's house, and it was Alex. I salute the folks who picked up on that.

3) I couldn't help noticing Tim told Jay about everything EXCEPT that tape. Come on, Tim. I've been swearing you were a good guy all this time; don't make me a liar out of me now!

4) Jay's reaction to to Tim "sharing" his meds with him. Is Jay in denial about how messed up he is, or instinctively suspicious of being medicated without his knowledge/consent, or...?

I'm off to read these six pages of reaction now; sorry if I just rehashed something for the umpteenth time.

Making my predictions now:

They head back to Tim's house to try and find pills and confront Alex.

A Wild TO appears! TO uses Dream Eater on JAY. It's Super Effective! JAY has fainted! TO uses Dream Eater on TIM. It has no effect! TIM uses Leer. It's Super Effective! TO uses Teleport. TO vanishes.

Tim uses Super Pills on Jay. Jay has recovered 200 HP. Jay is now conscious.

A Wild ALEX Ambushed the pair! ALEX uses Handgun on TIM. It's Super Effective! A Critical Hit! TIM has DIED!

JAY uses Lock Bathroom Door. It's Super Effective. JAY got the CUPBOARD CASSETTE. JAY uses Flee Out Bathroom Window. It's super effective.

Well, I was wrong about it being Alex's house, I guess I should have just went with the common sense answer. I was right that it was Alex, and I was right that a confrontation is approaching. Not a perfect score, but definitely not bad at all.

I think both of them are too far in to want to get the police involved. There would be way too much explaining to do and they don't want to rope other people in.

Would it be safe to assume that the almost comatose state Jay has been in the last few weeks is the same thing he went through during the several month blackout? Without Tim this time around he would have been completely oblivious to anything that has happened just as he was last time.

Not an idea that adds anything substantial to this discussion, I know, just clarification.

I don't feel comfortable with Tim at the reins.... Jay belongs behind the camera! Hope he doesn't get replaced by Tim permanently before the series is over.
