I see a lot of you talking about Jay, Alex and Hoody having "masky states", but I'm not sure if this is true. So far, Tim has been the only one to show any sort of Dissociative Identity Disorder-like symptoms. It's obvious that he has a more advanced form of "Slendy Sickness", cause, presumably, by his childhood trauma at the hands of the Operator.

So far, Tim is shown to have the most contact with the Operator as a child, a time when the brain is still fragile and can be more easily damaged. He is also the only one to show permanent and the most severe signs of the "Slendy Sickness", with other characters usually getting better during times they aren't thinking about the Operator or in prolonged contact with it. DID is often believed by psychologists to be a defense mechanism for traumatic incidences; the bad thing isn't happening to you, it's happening to someone else.

Jay and Alex have shown no signs of having an alternate personality or state of mind. Alex, though often violent and angry, is very much lucid and has a clear motivation behind his actions.

Hoody is an interesting case, though. He does seem to have a similar state of mind to Tim's "Masky" side, but he too seems more lucid. He also seems to have an advanced stage of SS, coughing and needed meds inspite of there being no evidence for the Operator being nearby. He doesn't seem to have a "normal" state, though, unlike Tim. It's possible that Hoody has Schizophrenia, he is paranoid and probably delusional, but no DID. He is always Hoody, and always slightly insane.

At this point, I'm not sure that the characters problems will recover even if they manage to rid themselves of the Operator. Tim will likely still be epileptic, and Hoody schizophrenic; Alex has been broken and has killed and attempt to kill in an effort to presumably rid himself of the menace, and will be unlikely to cope with everything he's seen and done. Jay stands the best chance of returning to "normal", having until recently, moderate signs of SS. Of course, his social life, education, and any future career are probably a bit worse for wear, and he'll likely have a hard time relating to others after dealing an eldritch terror for years. He'll probably suffer from PTSD, but at least he'll have Tim who's experience much the same, and can also lead a normal life, even with his epilepsy. It won't be easy for them, and they'll probably be poor all their lives, but they could do it.

I would not be surprised if you're right and proven right when entry 75 comes out. I've been on the forums for a while now and have noticed quite a few times where unfictioners predicted the plot to a tee. Sometimes it seemed as if trosephim has taken quotes directly from the forum.

Please keep OOG discussions in the OOG threads, or at least put them in spoilers. Cheers.

I can recall a few times where they very clearly used unfictions ideas. They definitely browse the forum too, one of them has an acct on here and on a podcast tim quoted unfiction

One time in particular someone mentioned that they haven't been using the chest cam even though it's in jay's posession, and the next entry they strapped it to tim. that can't be coincidence

Near the end when the face sort of melted and died, I immediately thought that that was supposed to represent Hoody melting away into insanity. If you look, the face seems to be in intense pain as it melts.

Perhaps "converting" into a proxy stage is excruciatingly painful, which is sort of proven in Entry #61 when Hoody stole Tim's pills.

What if Tim isn't really low on meds and he just wants to go to his house to secure the tape from entry #73 thus making him the "liar"?

I feel a huge post incoming, I think I figured out totheark's message

To sum it up quickly: takes control of people (making them do things against their will), and totheark is trying to figure out who he is presently posessing by pointing out unnecessary lies
.
The reason hoods and masks are worn are bc the operator makes them do bad things and they don't want to be seen doing them. The person is in full control of their mind when the operator takes control of them, as in they can see everything he's doing through their own eyes, but are powerless to do anything about it.

    b. The deciphering skills of viewers leveled up.
    Spoiler (Rollover to View):
    c. The dude who cracked the code was Troy/Tim/Joseph. Very Happy

Ugh. More of the same old same old. "He's a liar. Don't trust" blah blah blah

Not that I expected it to move the plot, but FFS you came back out of hiding to post THIS?! No wonder I don't hang on these forums F5-ing the screen hoping for a new entry like I used to.It really feels like they're not sure where they want to go with it.

I feel there's a lot more to this video, though. TTA has always been about symbolism, and if you read between the lines, this video is intense and doesn't bode well for anyone.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In fact, I feel this moves the plot along a lot better than some of the latest offerings on the main channel and has set things up for a big turn of events.

Take the idea I posted a few posts above and implement it into any tta video, and it works for pretty much all of them that have to do with liars

My god I think I figured it out.. later when i have time to fully analyze it i'll do so

After watching that season 1 livestream, everything TTA says usually has lots of truth behind it. So if it doesn't make sense now, we'll find out soon enough. Whatever you find out might be future plot

Can people please stop insinuating that the series creators are posting here?

If they were, it would be against the rules of the site and I'm pretty damn sure they don't really care enough about this place to find it necessary to "lead" the posters here in the right direction.

Wow, that analysis ACTUALLY makes a lot of sense!
