[SPEC] The Final Entry If you want to call it....call it here. Exactly what it says in the description guys. What happens in the last Entry(s)? Does Alex die? Does Tim die? Does Tim defeat TO? Or do Alex and Tim settle their differences, embrace and ride in the sunset? What captions can we expect the series to end on? And is TTA finished with the possible loss of Hoody?

At this point I don't care what happens to any of them…. I just hope we get legit answers.

The Non-End of Marble Hornets. Okay, there is no possible end to this series. You know what I call? An open end. There will be a final entry that provides concrete answers to what the creators feel need to be answered (totheark, what are the connections between TO and these people, maybe some other things I can't think of right now). But this series is going to end with Tim continuing on some sort of journey that will leave us wondering, but we won't necessarily need to know what happens. Another possible ending is Tim dies, and we get a final entry from the point of view of Alex where his side of the story is explained which fills in some of the blanks we all wonder. But there's no definite end. A lot of what we want will never be answered like what to the ark means (I know I've contradicted myself, its purposeful). Let's enjoy it. These guys are masters at story. Forget about plot and dialogue. But they've made what I consider to be the greatest story told through the visual medium in the last 20 years (yes, I realize the magnitude of that statement.) I truly love and hate that this is ending.

TO is defeated through use of the ark (or helped by the ark, if it's a person.)
When this happens, the camera gets all glitchy and then Jay, Tim, Alex, Brian (and possibly Seth) wake up outside the shack in Rosswood. They hear sounds coming from inside. Jay picks up the camera and they go inside to see what's going on. It's Sarah, Jessica, and Amy, who have woken up inside the shack and are wondering what's going on. They all have a very vague recollection of what happened. Jay mentions that he uploaded videos online and that they can watch the videos to refresh their memories.
White text displays saying that the group watched the videos together.
More white text displays saying that they've decided to tell their story to the world.
Even more white text displays saying that none of them have been feeling any negative effects now that that thing is gone.
Video is shown of the group together at a cookout, and everyone is happy.
Then:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
- You see a slight visual tear at the bottom of the screen.
- Then, the audio distorts.
- The image fades to black
- Then it fades back from black and you see the face of The Operator staring at the camera. He starts shaking his head "no"
The end!

I'm thinking something along the lines of Tim killing Alex and then running away after uploading the final entry. Not the most spectacular of endings, but that's honestly what I'm expecting.

trudat. the ending will definitely be open somewhat. Earlier I thought it seemed possible to defeat TO but now I think they'll just kill off the main characters so the verse can mess with the idea of TO

If it is anything but a Lovecraftian "I am sorry your princess is in another castle", I personally will be annoyed. Some answers yes, but best case is you put a cork in slendy until someone else cracks the seal.
I think there will be one person standing in a damaged mental state, hopefully drooling on themselves and heavily medicated somewhere. Not to be dark, but this whole thing has a very eldar being from beyond feel to it, and the more you know the crazier you get. Also has similar overtones to start reasonably sane... ... ... crazy stuff... ... ... end up coo coo for coco puffs.

Tim makes a deal with TO to go back in time, but lose his memory- in hopes of stopping it from happening like this again.
Implied cycle.

Well, I did briefly entertain a theory that they (the MH cast/crew) were living out these events over and over in a continuous loop, and the reason TTA was crazy was that unlike all the others, he actually remembered all the loops . I would think going through all these horrible things over and over with no end or escape in sight could drive anyone insane.

HABIT will teach Tim to draw the TribeTwelve logo on a knife while Jay pukes in the bathroom. Tim will then kill the Operator.

Maybe TTA is one of the characters that survives at the end of the loop and thus remembers everything that happens in previous loops.
Kinda like the plot to the movie Triangle.

Tim apologizes......a lot. Everyone dies or looses their memory.......after they hear Tim's horrible secret.
