The sun has gone down in Rosswood park. Jay has been chasing Tim for an hour now and losing more and more distance. Finally Jay stops for a breath, unable to see Tim now. His flashlight goes out and he is unable to see. He breaths heavy, anxiety in his voice. "Tim!....." A long pause before Jay hears a twig snap in the darkness.

His flashlight lights back up and he see's that he is completely surrounded. All around him are people wearing strange masks of varied shapes and qualities. Closest to him are the obvious masked silhouettes of Alex and Jessica.

Jay shudders and panics as he sees the masks through the trees for as far as he can see. His heart pounds and he starts to cough. He starts to feel that sickening feeling when He is near.

The figures are silent until one starts to hum. The rest of the figures start to join in the hum. The whole woods is filled with the hum then they start to sing Cara Mia Addio. Jay is startled by the peaceful melody, he is confused. Is this my fate? Is this when I die? The masks keep singing and begin to open a path just wide enough for Jay to walk through. He instantly takes the opportunity to escape, running as hard and as fast as he can while the masks keep parting.

The army keeps their melody and barely move as they lead Jay back to his car. When he finally see's where his destination is he turns around to look back at the horde, slightly confused. He see's Masky in front of the group singing like the rest of the masks.

The song finally stops and masky raises one hand and waves a farewell.

Jay gets into his car and leaves, never looking back.

Ohhh...I love this ending. Jay get's closure about Jessica and what's left of Tim and Jessica save Jay from turning into one of the mask. It's achingly bittersweet and actually made me tear up just by thinking of it. (Good job, you made me cry Smile

Search and Destory, your ending remidned me of something...I just haven't finished yet (I don't know what it is, it's probably just my paranoia talking), but your conclusion sounded really intresting, but I had to stop reading becuase I'm autistic and kind of need books/movies/ things just to keep everything in my life in check. But, it sounded really great Smile

Bro, this is the ending to portal 2.

Im glad it got you emotional though.

Ah, I'm not much of a gamer, so the reference passed me completly by Smile (Although I did get Portal 1 and 2 for Christmas from a friend via Steam, but I haven't played them yet)

Serum, I'm not really crash hot about how your using the word 'abortion'.

You're right, I apologize. That was in poor taste and I regretted it as soon as I said it.

I need a much stronger term for the "Transformers" movies. Something like... "The 9/11 of Cinema."

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Rocky V

such a bad movie

I meant the ending credit sequence, not the entire movie.

Furthermore, Rocky V is still better than any abortion Michael Bay performs. I think if I could describe the Transformers movies with a term, it would be "Partial Birth Abortion." And Rocky IV is the one with the robot.

Rocky IV was amazing

Literally the best porn flick to ever be filmed.

But I'm biased, because "America porn" is my favorite niche.

EXT: A small field. A breezy wind. Just... Calmness for ten seconds.

[OVERLAY TTA TEXT]: YOU HAVE FAILED

Strange, soothing music. Distorted. Clearly TTA uploaded this entry after our heroes previous expedition.

The camera begins to vibrate a little, unesttlingly.

[OVERLAY TTA TEXT]: YOU HAVE LEFT NOTHING BUT A WAKE OF DESTRUCTION IN YOUR PATH.

The camera is picked up. Flash to black. Colorful distortion. Then text.

[OVERLAY TTA TEXT]: the time has now come

Camera again. Operator out in the field. Camera rotates around. TTA revealed.

Behind him, the corpses of Alex, and Jay.

Boom. Slenderman next to them.

Boom. Corpses gone.

Boom. TTA gone. Camera falls to the ground.

[OVERLAY TTA TEXT] the keys to the ark are mine.

[Boom. A thousand slenderman in the park. THE ARK was where the Slenderman came from. And now... There are a million times more.

SMASH TO BLACK

[OVERLAY TTA TEXT] my salvation is at hand
[OVERLAY TTA TEXT OVERLAY DISTORTION SPLIT SECOND CHANGE] your doom is at hand

Wow, that's actually a genuinely unsettling ending. I'm terrified-- and delighted!

The only thing that might add to it would be if TTA finally spoke the words.

My thoughts:
Enntry #83
(At this point Jay almost lost his sanity as many spelling errors appear in the future entries).
the video starts with the title Enntry #83. Text appears saying
Quote:
We founnd something in thhe hospital.

video cuts to tim holding the camera and Jay coughing. Tim says
Quote:
He wants us here for some reason.

Then they find a tape in the file room.
Jay says
Quote:
Put in the camera so we can watch it.

The video cuts to hoody revealing himself to be Brian. He says
Quote:
We wanted to go to the ark but it cant let us. We failed.

Then Brian goes to alex's house and kills him with the gun.
Quote:
I had to do it. If we want left alone he has to be dead.

The operator appears behind him as very loud audio and visual distortion appears and the tape cuts to Hoody tta font in red saying:
Quote:
THE ARK CANT BE REACHED

Tim reacts disgusted by the video as they try to leave the hospital. When they try to leave the room they see the operator and they get sent to the ark (which is revealed to be the location from entry 65.) They see Alex somehow still alive in a masky like state and mumbling inaudible words. We also see brian there. Jessica is also there lying down. As Tim trys to tackle alex but the operator teleports him to somewhere else in the ark. They finally are free as flashes of frames from other entrys appear. They are back in 2006 were we see alex at the tower. He says
Quote:
You can't be real. You can't be.
We also see him putting the tape from entry #22 there. They get teleported back to the present. Jay is alone and gets back to the house and turns off the camera.
Quote:
I donnt kn0w wehere theyy aree. I HOPE theyy are saffe.

is the last thing the entry says. The last frame of the video is a hidden frame of everyone with red eyes with a TTA text in the bottom saying
Quote:
WE FOUND THE ARK THANKS FOR PLAYING THE GAME JAY

Jay running frantically through the hospital, screaming for Tim and Alex. Footage constantly distorted, but the sound of gunfire punctuates through the haze.

Jay finds Alex and Tim locked in a grapple in Tim's old room, Tim's mask hanging around his neck and badly damaged. Hoody's bleeding corpse crumpled in the corner, the gun nearby and the slide locked back showing the magazine is dry.

A large five gallon gasoline jug is tipped over, and both Tim and Alex are drenched. Tim stops struggling for a moment, surprised at Jay's sudden appearance. Alex gains the upper hand and lays Tim out with a solid punch to the face. Alex gets a few good solid kicks in while Jay stands there like a deer in the headlights.

Alex soliloquizes for Jay, pacing frantically back and forth. He ends with "But you just couldn't leave this alone. You just had to keep digging, you had to keep looking for her. I'm going to make sure that you find her."

Distortion, Operator appears next to Hoody's corpse. Alex just stands there as TO closes in to Jay. Jay collapses, the camera falling at an angle that shows Tim starting to regain consciousness. He manages to prop himself up against the wall and the distortion clears up. He yells for Jay to get up and get out of there. TO is gone, Alex standing there in a fugue state.

Jay crawls over to the camera and picks it up. He starts to make for Tim, but Tim takes his lighter out of his pocket.

"Just go! This has to end now, or it never will!"

They argue, and Alex starts to get back to his senses. He seems confused at what's going on, but Jay leaves the room and drags himself down the hall. Alex can be heard saying "What's going on?," then there's a bright flash of light.

Epilogue text over travelling shots similar to the beginning of the series.

I'm not trying to start a flame war, but regardless of how you feel about abortion and people have different viewpoints on it, the general consenus is that be that there's really nothing humorous about it. I find it a bit bizzare that anyone could be so free and easy about it, to be honest.

9/11 of cinema? Well, I'm not an American, but since it's been twelve years, I guess some people can feel a little bit at ease with it and I do understand what your trying to do with the joke. It's not to my taste, I'm afraid, but I do get it.

Back on topic, I can't wait to see everyone else's ideas Smile

Okay, okay. No need to be such a White Knight.

How about this? It's not offensive, I promise.

They're at like some sort of showdown thing, and they need to 'summon' the Operator, so Alex pours a big "O" with an "X" through it in gasoline in the middle of a field and ignites it, summoning the Master Operator, a new, more advanced form of the Slender Man, dressed in a longcoat over the suit, with a hood and mask.

Then Tim saves the day, then the Matrix ending.

Um, if your refering to what I think your refering to, I'm gay, so...

I know plenty of hertoesexual guys who would find your phrasing troubling who don't have ulterior motives in regards to women.

If your talking more generally, I'm not crusading, I'm just geniually curious about how anyone could slip that word into a casual conversation. With the people I know online and offline, it just doesn't happen.

Sexual preference has nothing to do with the term "white knight".

And abortion is not humorous. Serum expressing his disdain for a movie by assigning such a horrible term to it, however, is humorous. In doing so, he has not suggested that he actually finds abortion funny, merely that he finds Transformers to be really, really bad.

Ah, thanks for the clarification, although I heard it in use regards to a man who apparently takes up a feminist position only in order to advance the opportunity for sex.

Well, to be fair, it does seem like a rather strange phrase to use in a conversation with people you don't really know. It's not really to my taste, I'm afraid.

Okay, back on topic, guys...

When in doubt, look to George Carlin:

There's a different group to get pissed off at you in this country for everything your not supposed to say. Can't say nigger, boogie, jig, jigaboo, skinhead, moulli, moullignon, schvartze, jungle bunny, greaser, greaseball, dago, guinea, wop, ginzo, kike, zebe, hebe, yid, mocky, hymie, mick, donkey, turkey, limey, frog, zip, zipperhead, squarehead, krout, hiney, jerry, hun, slope, slopehead, chink, gook. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any of those words in and of themselves. They're only words. It's the context that counts. It's the user. It's the intention behind the words that makes them good or bad. The words are completely neutral. The words are innocent. I get tired of people talking about bad words and bad language. Bullshit! It's the context that makes them good or bad. The context. That makes them good or bad. For instance, you take the word "nigger." There is absolutely nothing wrong with the word "nigger" in and of itself. It's the racist asshole who's using it that you ought to be concerned about. We don't care when Richard Pryor or Eddie Murphy say it. Why? Because we know they're not racist. They're niggers! Context. Context. We don't mind their context because we know their black. Hey, I know I'm whitey, the blue-eyed devil, paddy-o, fay gray boy, honky, mother-fucker myself. Don't bother my ass. They're only words. You can't be afraid of words that speak the truth, even if it's an unpleasant truth, like the fact that there's a bigot and a racist in every living room on every street corner in this country.

Never heard of George Carlin, but I'd just like to argue...

To be fair, what about people who believe that it's a woman's right to choose and who don't believe that abortion is a bad thing? (I believe people should get their sexy on - THE WORLD NEEDS TO RELAX - , but if contraception fails...well, then both parents are responsible for the child's future - whether raising it themselves or adoption.)

It's just a loaded gun waiting to go off if you menticon it in a casaul conversation. I'm going to post my final scene up tommorow, if you guys are intrested...
