This entry could have gone many ways,but the way it DID go was certainly unexpected by ME.IMO--The handwriting on the photo looks like Alex's,but I agree with whoever noted that if Alex carried her photo around that faithfully,it seems he'd be loathe to part with it,but....in the end...who knows?
I feel that Tim is lying and did what he did to save Jay,he even admitted that he felt Jay DID need to see the tape,but just not NOW.Whatever is on that mahfukker 'gon be guud

I'd like to start off with a link http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Filler to hopefully help everyone understand what a filler episode is. I explained this a lonnnnng time ago during a previous outbreak of "zomg filler" posts mostly by a specific person I won't name. A summary for those who don't want to read the entire link:

A filler is an episode of a series that you can not watch, and won't miss anything relevent to the plot or further episodes. This is usually found in anime's, to make sure the anime doesn't catch up to the manga.

To this date, the closest thing marble hornets has to filler is the totheark entries, and arguably the .5 entries. They can be ignored completely, and you would still understand the series.


Now, on topic. I find it hilarious Jay came equipped with nothing but a maglight for a possible war with Alex.

I'm trying to figure out if Jays been getting manipulated by Tim this entire time or what... Like are they trying to get him to turn into one of the "maskies" to get him some new ability? Maybe Hoody screwing with Tim was just him trying to get Jay to ally with him? Just saying Jay never came down with very heavy slendy symptoms until he started hanging with Tim.

Okay, I'm caught up. So, in no particular order:

I don't know whether Alex captured Hoody and left the note, or vice versa. It's possible Alex left the note as a trap without actually having captured anyone.

Someone questioned why Tim didn't so much as get up after the tussle. It could be because he was sincere about his concern for Jay, and wanted to prove that by not doing anything Jay might feel threatened by. After all, when Jay ran off Tim easily could've overtaken and then overpowered him.

We've speculated about a possible falling-out between Timasky and Hoody. This may be the source; Hoody wanted to tell Jay everything, and Tim thought he wasn't ready.

If Tim is sincere, that tape will either show Jay doing something terrible while not in his right mind, or it'll show something happening to him (or in front of him) so horrific that it triggered dissociative amnesia.

If he's not sincere, it'll show something really bad about him. What that could be is anyone's guess, and I don't doubt the speculation will take up several pages .

While I've never liked the "Brian is Hoody/TTA" I've always assumed it was him, Seth, or an as-yet unknown third party. If it turns out to be one of the girls, I will be pissed beyond all rationality (and I say that as a woman, so don't get the wrong idea ). Why? Because it makes no sense to me at all. Even my suspension of disbelief only goes so far.

Overall, great entry.

This entry is probably one of my favorite ones this season (I do say that a lot though, don't I). The pacing was great, and the "uneasy partnership breaking apart" thing reminded me of Jay and Alex in season two. I really hope we get another entry shortly (the fact that the wait was so long means that th might have filmed the next one already).

I'd like to note that after Jay tackles Tim down, during his very aggressive (almost masky like).

Jay's face is off camera during that scene where he's saying "WHAT IS THIS". I know this sounds strange, but what if his pupils dilated or he got darkened eyes due to slendereffects?

Tim is trying to stay ahead of jay at all times. Was he trying to be a leader? Unlikely, that's not like him. Was he trying to find something before Jay would have a chance to see it? More likely.

How long has Tim been without sideburns? Seriously though, I didnt notice they were gone in 74.

Alex was carrying a picture of Amy on his person. Why? I thought that Alex was separated from Amy and had no intentions of seeing her again.

A note on the back of a picture often involves the person in the picture. This could mean a number of things. Some are saying that Amy has taken Alex. It could mean that whoever took has Alex has Amy too.

The mess in the living room looks like things were thrown around. It didnt look like a struggle to me, more like someone was intentionally tossing things around, like they were looking for something. Did Alex know about the tape? Was he frustrated that he couldnt find it after it was taken? I think so.

All in all, Im surprised that Tim double crossed Jay, they would have made a great team.

For all we know this all could be a trap set by Alex. (Although that would be pretty lame)
