I actually thought the beginning of the entry was interesting too. Tim and Jay finally acknowledged the footage of Hoodie and Timasky attacking Alex: "You saw what happened when someone tried to turn that on [Alex]".

Also, a little hinting at what motivated Jay to go to the lengths he's gone to solve this mystery. "I remember before I lived by myself in a crappy apartment doing nothing. At least now I'm doing...something." That seems really sad to me. Sad

Some things worth mentioning;
1. Static was heard as soon as jay got in the car from the doctors. A sign of his slender sickness? Masky and Alex both brought on this particular kind of distortion. I agree with everyone saying how he is in the final stages of becoming a proxy.
2. It seemed weird how we saw some charector development for jay. He was saying how he was a nobody in a crappy apartment before all this. It seems to me that this is a clue. Anyone care to elaborate because this is really bothering me. Why would he mention that? It seems so irrevelant.
3. [SPEC] but I've always thought this was all Tim's fault. It was probally unintentional but nonetheless I think he brought TO into everyone's lives. Could the tape be evidence of this?

Anyway, 'member the season 2 finale, particularly the line from Alex, "it's over there, I don't want to see it again" he could've been talking about this tape.

More fuel for over-analysis: Does Jay search in those boxes because he just thinks that Tim missed something & only later puts together that Tim is deliberately hiding the tape, or did he just do it to make Tim think he wasn't on to him the whole time?

A picture of Amy with a cryptic message and address on the back. Tim was withholding the tape from Jay, Jay has completely gone off his rocker. The tape is going to do one or more of the following:

Confirm the "time travel" element (the tape will be future Jay doing something)
Reveal the identity/identities of ToTheArk
Unmask Hoody
Show us "The Ark"
Christmas Morning '96
Give us the whereabouts of Jessica
The true nature of the Operator's intentions

...I'm thinking that the message "HE IS A LIAR" wasn't referring to Tim, but to Jay. Jay is the liar. Tim is trying to help Jay, but Jay is infected with the Operator Sickness on what appears to be a psychologically terminal level-- Tim can still fight it, but Jay is showing no signs of wanting to fight it (he said he used to live in a little apartment and do nothing before all this) and he's also becoming more like Alex, uttering Alex's famous line: "DON'T FOLLOW ME!"
