If it ends up being time travel, I feel like all the people who only watch Marble Hornets are gonna be ecstatic.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The time travel thing has kinda been spoiled now by TT.

Also, who's to say Trosephim didn't already have time travel planned out? It's not likely they've just been making this up as they go along. They probably had Season 3 planned out long before
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the big time travel reveal on TT.

I have kind of a (possibly crackpot) theory on the Tape.

First, I need to talk about the totheark video "Return". The consensus seemed to be that it referred to the "return" of The Operator; a warning that it was here now, in the present day. There was also a lot of speculation about Jay. Both his appearance, and the way TO seemed to pass by him without taking any notice of him. My thought on that is TO ignored him because it had already done whatever it intended to do to him. It was finished with him, and had no reason to pay him any mind. And that's why Jay looked like hell, too. He was suffering the aftermath of whatever it had done to him.

That lead me to think, maybe "Return" wasn't talking about TO at all; it was talking about JAY. That was his return to The Operator. TTA was basically saying that this was NOT, in fact, the first time TO had had it's way with him.

That leads me to The Tape: maybe that tape will show what The Operator actually did to him, and watching it before he's ready will cause Jay to go mad from the revelation.

Return could potentially be about three things: The return of Masky/Tim. And Jay's return to the fireman's wall (since those events were occurring at the time of those replies from TTA). Lastly, it could be about Jay's "return" to his motel room. Remember he was unconsciously doing all kinds of crazy stuff related to using doors to "travel". Tim sitting on the floor paralyzed might be what he went through after using one of those doors. Or what he ended up looking like while he was in his own Maskey-State.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Also I watch Tribe Twelve. Yeah it's kind of wonkey but I like it. I also watch EverymanHybrid, Dark Harvest, CaughtNotSleeping and MLAndersOn. My personal favorite is Dark Harvest. Also, the StanFredrickBTS series was kinda cool, even though it was just abunch of kids. I rather enjoyed the ending to that story.

I've kind of been suspecting since #73 that the tape might have something to do with "Return", if not Jessica. Especially since the word "RETURN" flashed in the beginning of the video. Now, that could have been TTA telling them to "return" to Tim's house, but maybe it had a double-meaning.

As for the whole conversation on Jessica: yeah, she was a pretty strong character. Maybe that's why they chose to make her disappear for a while—she might have actually gotten this whole mess sorted out in a rather short period of time. Laughing And, of course, Tim's character adds a whole new depth of "holy crap" to the entire series, and he's a pretty strong character now. I wouldn't consider him a weak substitute as of late—even considering his dishonesty.

Excuse me, but how excatly was Jessica strong? She agreed to help Jay and Alex for that short time (of course Alex was leading them on the entire time). She then stayed with Jay at the hotel, gave a number for the safe combination. Later on she remained a mindless shell like Jay was in that hotel of theirs and eventually admitted to weird things happening. She had no idea what to do along with Jay. Nothing would've happened had she stuck around. Her and Jay would be in the same situation now, maybe ending up not letting Tim into their group if she was there. Then nothing would've gotten done. Oh yeah, she did that photo-op with TTA to infiltrate Jay's twitter too.

People who dismiss TT have only watched the first handful of entries. They have been getting significantly better, the EMH/DH tie ins were great (as was slendy on a plane), and his whole "shooting the slenderman" bit was amazing

He just doesn't update enough

I really hope it has nothing to do with Return. That video scares the shit out of me. Hell, Return and Admission are the only videos from MH that still make me shiver hard.

Obviously return wasn't the first time the operator has been involved with Jay. Entry 71 proves that.

That doesn't mean anything, as TT still did it first. Hoody is the equivelant to whatever future-noah is in TT, so copying the same mechanic for the same character would be awful.

Yes, please.
Enough with that BS.
Even Trosephim aren't dumb enough to try it.

I don't get why people think return means anything other than the return of the operator to present day. It was the first time we see him in non-past footage and hoody had no reason for jay to return to the house (other than to get captured by the operator - shown by entry 23). Not only that, but simply titling a video "return" doesn't really implicate "come back to the house you were just at" since it was a response to entry 19, and jay went to the house in 18.

Return was simply Tim leading Jay to the operator, and TTA filming it. They wanted Jay to know he was now involved in things (hence the "found you forever"). The operator went after TTA knowing Jay was incap'd, just like entry 72 with Tim

Where do you get that? Doctor Who? He makes people cross timelines all over the place.
