I agree.
It would definitely give Tim a reason to team up with Jay, and possibly why Tim thinks Jay should see it too (although at a later time). Smile

 		Haven't read the last 20(ish) pages, (I'm lazy) and I can't remember from the first ones of this has been suggested (I'm forgetful. And lazy), but, theory about the tape in the box.

In Entry Whichever, 72? where they find the papers and Tim sharply diverts Jay from the side pockets of his bag into the top pockets, is it possible he had the tape in there and didn't want jay to find it and ask what it was, and then shortly after went back to his own place to put it there for safekeeping? We have no evidence that Tim and Jay are in each others presence all the time, he could easily have claimed to be running an errand of some kind one day and gone to put it where he thought (stupidly) no one would find it. Ridicule at will, fellow Unforumers, I just thought it could be worth a mention.

 		I don't think so. Rosswood town's a very long drive away and Jay was in a state after #72 in which it wouldn't be safe to leave him alone for that long.

 		That's a reasonable point, yeah. Still, I certainly think the idea is more realistic than the Entry 52 one about Alex putting the tape on the floor in the middle of an abandoned house in Rosswood, and not wanting to look at it again. No offence intended if that sounded a bit argumentative.

 		I'm feeling it. They're going to cop out and just have Jay end up being slendernapped after the last entry and that's why there will be a delay.

They should just take a month or two off right now and get their timing straight for future entries. The unrealistic wait really takes me out of the submersion

 		Just rewatched Entry #72. Now that we know Tim was withholding a tape, Tim's line of "he gave you the tapes that made him look like the victim rather than the cause" is certainly more disconcerting. Particularly because right after saying it, he turns away and licks his lips like he's nervous. After all, he just put forward a theory that could end up applying to himself.

It has already been established that in game time is not simultaneous to real time. The immersion is the same as that of a movie or a tv show. You'll have to start viewing it as such or you're only going to continue to be disappointed.

I think you're reading too deep into his body language. Sure, that line was probably foreshadowing or something, but every idiosyncratic action by the actors doesn't always have a meaning.

Submersion? Dude, you really shouldn't be submerged while watching anything. I mean, I like being underwater as much as the next guy, but it seems like a pretty bad idea.

All stupid jokes aside, I don't entirely agree. What you suggested isn't a bad idea, but the time for that has long passed- now would be an awful time to suddenly do a really long delay. I'd rather they continue to try and make lame excuses until a more opportune moment comes in the plot. Being slendernapped would actually be a good excuse that they haven't overused yet- I don't think they've ever used it, in fact.

I mean, I'd be pissed if the delay is because he was on the run again and didn't have time, or if he just was "too horrified by the contents of the tape", or if they give no excuse at all. But being taken by TO? If they had that happen and actually addressed it in more detail than saying that he had a random blackout- maybe even work it into the plot- I'm not sure I'd mind. It depends on how well they handle it.

But even otherwise, I'd much rather get pissed off at them for using an unorginal, recycled excuse a week from now than have to wait a whole month after that cliffhanger.

It stuck out to me before but I didn't read too deeply into it, maybe it was just from getting a theory like that off his chest, maybe it was just something the actor did... but it just seems too convenient to be a coincidence now, all things considered. I figure the tape does contain somebody other than Alex doing horrible things during the filming of MH, so that gesture from Tim may be implying that it's Masky doing those things (possibly with a slendersick Jay and/or Hoodie helping).

 		I think Jay is in Masky-state right now. He doesn't know what the heck he's doing, and probably won't even remember taking the tape from Tim. Probably even uploaded 75 while in Masky-State. We'll most likely see some strange tweets from Jay soon. Coded messages in the form of numbers, or slurring of words and such. Segments of the tape Jay nabbed will be uploaded by TTA, just to taunt Tim. And the tape will finally be uploaded in while Jay is in Masky-state. Jay will wake up, watch the entry, and be horrified by what he see's on it. Later on, he'll try to contact Tim, of course not at all remembering going to Tim's house, and attacking him.
