I think Jay is in Masky-state right now. He doesn't know what the heck he's doing, and probably won't even remember taking the tape from Tim. Probably even uploaded 75 while in Masky-State. We'll most likely see some strange tweets from Jay soon. Coded messages in the form of numbers, or slurring of words and such. Segments of the tape Jay nabbed will be uploaded by TTA, just to taunt Tim. And the tape will finally be uploaded in while Jay is in Masky-state. Jay will wake up, watch the entry, and be horrified by what he see's on it. Later on, he'll try to contact Tim, of course not at all remembering going to Tim's house, and attacking him.

I have one thing to say about this:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It has already been established that in game time is not simultaneous to real time. The immersion is the same as that of a movie or a tv show. You'll have to start viewing it as such or you're only going to continue to be disappointed.

IG time is surely the same as real world time. I don't know where you got the idea that it wasn't

Honestly, I don't think Jay has a Masky state. I think Jay is just still slightly out of it. He still wasn't completely acting like himself in #74 (he's a little washed out on things/confused/etc.) and it isn't common for Jay to be physical. I think it's nothing more than a little bit of residue from Jay's encounter with TO.

It's a well known fact that Jay has a maskey state. Proof is in his Twitter account. At some times, you can see his speech slurring, like he's falling into some kind of trance, and text slowly turning into code. Then he uploads things like Entry ###### (It IS an Entry btw) and Entry 29. Not to mention his absent minded teleporting in entry 23 and 24, and further proof is in TTA's video Admission. Sure the figure presented is just a dark and faded silhouette, but I'm positive that's Jay. So to re-iterate what I said before, I think Jay is in Masky state right now, or is recovering from Masky state. That would explain the glitches we saw near the end of Entry 75. Masky was able to interfere with the camera on the same level as The Operator (or nearly the same).

I agree. Tim is the only character in the series who has exhibited symptoms of DID. Why is everyone so convinced that anyone other than Tim has a "Masky" side? It was just a mulching theory to begin with, but everyone treats it as if it were fact.

1) Jay has shown signs of slender sickness which shows in his typing, which happened before enttry #37 was uploaded. He tweeted the next day that he woke up near the red tower with no idea how he got there. Jessica said that she was losing large gaps of time when she had the sickness in Entry #32. It's a well known fact that TTA hacks into Jay's twitter and (s)he is responsible for the codes, not Jay.

2) TTA was the most likely poster of Entry ###### and Entry #29 was a video he found on the hard drive that he stole from Alex in the safe.

3) Admission was posted before Entry #24.

4) The distortion is because Jay is still slightly suffering from slender sickness. His encounter with The Operator was pretty bad. Remember when Jessica had slender sickness and her voice was distorting the camera?

I don't have an explanation for the teleportation, though, but I still don't think Jay has a masky state.

And I agree with Mr. Digsby. (Said your name right)

I hope entry 76 is uploaded soon. This is the first entry in a while that's got me in real suspense to see what's going to happen next.

Although it is a bit strange that Jay hasn't even tweeted anything. Nothing about the tape he took from Tim or whether he's planning to visit the address on the photo of Amy.

I find it hard to believe obvious and blatant teleportation is caused by "the sickness". He does it all over Brians house in Entry 23. Plus he even caused it to turn to night time while he was in that house. It's not something you can just, do. Jay has a masky state. I don't think Alex has one, if he did, he overcame it (before Jay decided to intervene with entries) and is now just a tad on the crazy side. Jessica, well, I still think she was bait. Bait that was setup by The Operator and Alex, so thats what caused the glitches on her face at the Hotel.

Was it ever decided that people with Masky states could teleport?

As far as I can remember the Operator is the only one we've actually conclusively seen teleporting.

Go see Entry 23. Tell me that isn't teleporting. Entry 24 has some bizarre porting around as well. Entry 65 also has some obvious teleporting of Tim while going into his masky state.

But teleporation has never been explicitly identified as a Masky state symptom.

When Tim was teleporting in Entry #65, it was the Operator torturing him.

But then what about Entry 23? Was that just The Operator screwing around with Jay? Same with 24? Maybe it was Timasky in the area screwing around with Jay. They don't have control of it on a conscious level. I don't think there would be a way to learn how to do it. But Tim and Jay (for sure) can teleport as a result of their Masky State.

And now, a Crackpot theory! (not to be taken seriously): When Jay went to get Jessica at the hotel so they could leave. Jay had his hand on the doorknob same time she did on the otherside. This resulted in her teleportation, and wherever she is, her memory is gone from the events she was with Jay at the Hotel (which explains why she hasn't tried to contact Jay).
