I wouldn't really say he 'attacks' him in 62, having said that I have no idea what else he's doing. Don't you just get the distinct feeling that if masky wanted to fuck Jay up, he could? I mean he's never done any lasting damage to any of the characters, even after Alex broke his leg. If he wants to kill jay then why wouldn't he just break in and slit his throat with the knife in his sleep?
I know the 'scaring off' theory isn't watertight, but it's the only thing that seems plausible at the moment, until new info comes to light anyway...

Perhaps all of the cast had some previous link to the operator and he is manipulating everyone to get them together for some unknown purpose.

I know this is really out there but it would make an interesting twist and bring all the characters together neatly for a final showdown.

Maybe the operator is his father (OK that's maybe taking it a bit far! Wink

I really like this theory but I do not think it will turn out this way for reasons, but it would be fine with me if it did.

 		Thanks, just realised I was putting OP rather than TO. must have been tired!

I'd like it if the tape showed that Jay had previous encounters with TO, Tim or even was a patient in the hospital before it burned down (not sure how they could film that though).
It could bring links in between the MH cast and explain some of the strange relationships between the cast, TO, TTA etc

I hope Jessica has not been killed off. As that was one story element I'd like expanded too.

 		The only reason I think it might be Jessica's death on tape is that OOG it would be an easy way to resolve the Jessica storyline in a (kinda) satisfactory manner, whilst not having to pay her. It depends how greedy Trosephim are XD

It could go either way honestly. If he was covering for himself, then we can't trust Tim anymore. Why has Jay waited all this time to look at the tape? Could he have been recovering from "the sickness" for the entire duration? Anyway, the anticipation!

Well, as you may recall, we have some pretty solid evidence that Tim's pills suppress his masky state. He has been doing fine by himself, until Jay and Hoody came along to mess him up. Masky hasn't had many chances to harm Jay.

Considering Masky and TTA were implicitly responsible for Jay's proximity to TO in "Return", I'd say they had something else in mind for him entirely.

I don't want them to explain all the TTAs in the main series, but I really want to know what the hell was going on in Return before the series ends. I'd love to have it be that Jay and Tim find Hoody's laptop or flashdrive with all the raw footage he edits into the videos we see and find some footage which shows Masky and Hoody setting up and filming Return.

 		Since Jay doesn't seem to have had any encounters with The Operator during the actual MH shoot, it's possible Masky and Hoody thought he was immune somehow. "Return" could've been an attempt to test out that theory -which was dead wrong, judging from how bad he looked. Unless the zombie stare was a result of whatever the Dynamic Duo did to him so he couldn't escape before they were ready...

Goddamnit, I need to stop shooting my own theories full of holes; it makes me look stupid.

Thats actually a pretty good theory, however we have been shown that TO can and has affected Jay long before Return (chronologically) in Entry #71. It still may have some mileage when you remember that Masky and TTA probably didn't see that tape until recently, so it could be right.

 		Don't forget Entry #12. Almost if not all the MH cast members encountered The Operator in that park area during the filming. They saw him and thought he was some weirdo who was watching them. Actually asking him to go away lol. Alex and everyone were all pretty calm and mellow in his presence (no sickness, yelling, undue violence or outbursts). Could this be the first time they all saw The Operator (unless Alex is all, oh jeeze this guy again, better pretend like I never saw him infront of the others)?

I prefer it when people are honest with their own theories, rather than trying to portray some far-reaching scenario as MAKIN PERFECT SENS GAIZ.
