Side note (as this has gotten off topic already) anyone else see that dink put up the fake entry. To him I wanna say eat me, but to the first post who played along I wanna say "well played" with the "Why Tim! Why!" Spoiler

First post is, to the best of my understanding, one of his many alt accounts. He always makes a couple of responses in his own thread from different accounts to try and make it look more convincing. And, again, even if the thread has been derailed, this still should go in the OT thread or something, especially if it's not a direct response to something already being discussed in this thread.

Bugger should be banned.

Anyway, getting back on the topics of the series, I pose an open question to all: Tim's pills. He claims they help control his resistance to blackouts and The Operator. Time fed then to Jay, and he was still out for 2 weeks. Also, Tim became TiMasky for 2 seasons while taking them.

So I ask: Tim's Pills: Help, Hinderance, or Placebo?

I think the difference is that starting in #69, he started taking them more consistently. I gathered from the conversation him and Jay had that those pills were one of those "take as needed" prescriptions that he just started taking more of. Or maybe it had something to do with his attempted OD?

Well, the previous two seasons Tim might've been taking a different, less effective medication. Or he's just gotten a lot better about taking them when he's supposed to, now that he knows what he actually does during those blackouts.

This season Jay might still be messed up like that because Tim couldn't give him enough to work right away, since he still needs it for himself.

So, I'm going to say Help.

Edit: ninja'd. Also, 100th post!

or it takes a while for them to get great resistance. He was taking them willy-nilly once the operator was back in his life, so it might be stronger (going by ig science and not real life medicine science) because he was probably only taking it once a day to not seizure since he may not have been actively followed or encountering the Operator.

He could've been off his meds for S1 and 2 for all we know. In any case, if he didn't fully understand the gravity of what happens if he doesn't take them, he may have not taken them as consistently until later.

Possibly Jay taking the pill bottle from the House in Season 1 was a contributing factor to his being Masky for most of that time. Or who knows, maybe Hoody was deliberately cutting off his supply to keep him in Masky mode for that time period and had just let him go for a while at the start of S3 (or lost control).

Looking back at some old tweets, seeing Tim's old occupation kind of caught my attention. He's a delivery driver for antique store...weird. Jay also captured pictures of whats inside he store. I don't think troy put that in there for no reason. An antique store would know the history of the location (and the history of TO). I'm thinking the tape shows that Tim does remember some things about being masky. One therory could be that Tim is part of a resistance group against TO. Probally in league with tta. That's what Tim could be lying about and doesn't want to tick of jay.

I'm pretty sure Tim told us that was his job at some point, because I always "knew" that was his job before that post.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'm with Marblehornets. he has only said that he would disappear for days and would call back and they'd have fired him cause he hasn't shown up. I got the impression he was a store clerk or something. We recently rewatched the Tim entires, and I don't recall him saying anything more then he worked a hell of a lot.

It's never been explicitly stated what Tim's job is/was. We know he was hanging around the antique store because it was near his doctor's office, but nothing has really been said beyond that.

The whole job thing was OT. But I do think the tape shows Tim's amnesia isn't as bad as he's letting on. Oh well, we'll find out tonight.

We Will get it before the night is up.

Just in case it hasn't already been brought up:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I am unsure as hell if this has already been brought up.

Quote:
Just watched the tape. Things aren't good right now. Need sleep. Uploading entry 76 later tonight. - Jay, Twitter

So basically things have hit the fan i spectacular fashion. I for one will wait till the nearly hours of the morning to find out, though god knows my sleep will suffer horribly.

So, rewatching entries to wait for #76. If this has been said before, my bad, but I noticed that in 74 Tim tells Jay that he's been pretty out of it, that after the run in with TO Jay had no idea "who you were, where you were, anything that had happened."

Then, here in 75 Jay says he doesn't remember what all he did before all of this happened, just being in a crappy apartment doing nothing.

What if Jay had been doing "something" before? As seen with Alex, exposure to TO has an effect on personality, moods, memory, possibly even sanity. If Jay had a previous encounter with TO, before starting the entries, how much of an effect could it have had on him? For all we know, Jay could have been a completely different person in many regards. It might explain why Tim did not remember/recognize Jay in S1.
