You know, I just thought of this, but--

At the end of this entry, Jay yells: "DON'T FOLLOW ME!"

In Entry 49, Alex is heard muttering those exact words as he walks to the tunnel, shortly before we see him murder 'Bruce' in cold blood without any apparent motive. Could those words have some sort of cosmic significance?

Like, maybe Alex's 'slender sickness' has grown so severe that he often sees everyone as a tall, faceless man in a business suit?

You know, Serum, I've begun to wonder if maybe Alex wants Jay to turn insane. Like, maybe he's stalling TTA until Jay becomes too broken to be used any longer.
...Or maybe Alex wants him to be the next crazy TO pawn so he can get off the hook?

Isn't it possible that Alex didn't kill Jay after entry 33 because he spent all his free time at a shooting range? If each time you're going at someone with a gun and you miss all your shots, you're going to lose confidence in yourself, especially when your partner has to clean up your messes for you. This explains why he loses track of Jay and Tim so easily and why he's so angry at hoody for not telling him where they are.

also on a serious note, wtf... entry 68 takes place after 69. hoody had taken alex's gun at the end of 69 and still has it (shown by the entry where he puts the pills in that abandoned area). why not shoot him in entry 68?
