But the commentary from Trosephim was along the lines of "there were a lot of people who thought this was the operators origin story, but it was just Alex trying to be creepy"

Tim knows that a big part of what is keeping Jay in the game is that he's trying to find Jessica. I don't think Tim hid this from Jay for any overtly malicious reasons, I think he definitely knows more than he has let on but the main reason he didn't want Jay to see this tape was so he would believe Jessica was still alive, thus encouraging him to continue.

Still, Tim has some splainin to do.

Hello everyone. I was wondering since Tim only saw one body and after being in the dimension that slender send him to. Then he came out as fine as he could have been. Is it possible that since Jessica didn't die but made it out of the dimension place, and so Tim after seeing only one body but knowing if she was dead there should be two. He didn't want Jay to see the tape thinking there might be a chance she is alive, and didn't want to give up on her just yet. But Tim didn't know for sure if she is alive because she could have been hidden in a different place.

So I think for Tim he wanted to first find the body or her before showing Jay the tape.

I dunno if you've ever seen someone shot before, but I assure you, there is always a lot of blood involved, especially if it's fatal. Until I see a bloody corpse and a certificate of death, no one in this story is cannon dead. Except Beardy, he's dead.

I'm confused as to why people keep saying hoody could be Jay because in entry 66 Jay and Tim are following hoody so how can Jay follow hoody and be hoody at the same time?

I also wish that there would've been one entry before Tim and Jay broke up where they just recorded themselves talking to each other about what they think is going on. We still have no idea what Jay or Tim think is happening. Wouldn't you think they would say wtf is that tall dude and how is all this weird stuff happening instead of oh i saw that same guy in the back of the movie set in alexs video and leave it at that. I would immediately say yeah man what is that thing where does it keep taking us not just ignore it. That's what really bugs me about all the slender series they all act as if they don't actually acknowledge him there like he'll be an important part of the scene and they just ignore the fact that he was in the shot for 30 seconds and talk about something else.

Yes, in hindsight, it's obvious, but...as much as I really liked Jessica, I just couldn't help but wonder if we were meant to focus on her reasons for being in the hotel and be suspicious of her or the whole thing was just a huge plot hole we were meant to overlook. I know, I know, this is probably me and I felt we should have connected the dots and there are probably people smarter then me here who made the connection, but...yeah.

- And the whole thing turns into the blackest of jokes ever: The Operator remembers he left Jessica's body there and goes back in time to collect it at the proper tim e, so it disappears in our time.
- HAAHHHAHAA! Fuck you, Troseph.
- And then Tim stumbles and takes the mask off...focusing on his failure? Remembering what has happened? Perhaps he can now remember everything as Masky?
- TEARS, MAN. FUCKING TEARS, FOREVER.
