I think he'll find Hoody there, in pretty fine condition and no Alex, since Hoody was lying to get Jay there. Then Tim comes in to try and reason with Jay, Jay doesn't listen to any of it, something happens to disrupt the scene and Hoody runs off with Tim in pursuit. Then Jay's left with some kind of clue from the house. Hoping for the combination to Jessica's safe. Pleeeeease no goddamn tape. Though it would be pretty cool to find a camera that one of the characters had but lost. Technically we'd then see the contents from its tape but it'd still be fresher than just a tape on its own.

I don't know about the safe, the hotel didn't have them anymore...so miming it might be hard if he's to find something in it.

It would probably be easy enough to fake, just put the camera on the desk or bed, Jay kneels down, sounds from Entry #33 are dubbed in to make it seem like he's opening it, then he comes back up with whatever was inside. I just rewatched the entry and there was actually a small bit of distortion after he failed to open the safe, so I wouldn't want that to have been for nothing. Plus the hotel seems like an obvious place to revisit in hopes of finding clues and the most natural conclusion to a revisit would be getting the safe open.

The hotel was more important to revisit when we didn't know what had happened to Jessica. Now that we know what happened to her and know we won't find any more leads about it at the hotel, only the safe provides any motivation to go back. Since Jay doesn't even know what's in it, and since whoever's at South Creek may already be gone and probably will be soon otherwise, I'd say the hotel's a lower priority best left for after whatever goes down at South Creek.

gonna put my money down that alex is at that address waiting for jay and it was a setup, and then hoody or tim will save jay after alex gets the jump on him


because the alternative is that hoody has alex there and is cleaning up his poo for the past month

Well, if Hoody managed to find a way to keep Alex hostage without TO intervening, he may have kept him there all this time.

But it's not impossible that the hostage- if there ever was one- is dead now, and/or the hostage-taker long gone. Something tells me Jay may find no one there, just clues to what happened and tapes (*groan*) or something else which could yield answers.

The chances of it being a tape is probably quite high tho. That's kinda what Marble Hornets is, found tapes. I'm all good if the tape is the entry/second half of the entry. I agree Jay going somewhere and finding a tape as an entry is a little disappointing, but I'm not going to stop watching because of it

Personally, I think there IS going to be a confrontation of some kind between whoever goes to the lodge and Alex/Hoody, there's just been too much build up, even for someone who is watching the series all the way through for the first time, although I imagine it will be a short encounter which will reveal some vital clue. (Perhaps Alex has escaped and Hoody is going after him? Tim mommentairly has it out Alex, but has to let Alex go in order to save Hoody, despite his conflicted feelings towards Hoody?)

It'd be intresting if Tim went to the lodge and found some apparent incriminating evidience agasint Jay. Tim has discovered where Jay has been hiding out all this time, but has discovered he's long gone, cut to black time recapping that he's searched all over town for the next couple of days and Jay is long gone and the series becomes increasingly Tim-centric for awhile.

As for how long Hoody or Alex have been kept there, personally, I think we're not meant to take the laspes in out of game time unless their specifically noted in the entries.
