Seriously, I go away from the hub for two weeks and then this happens? I had to take a break from the hub and the internet in general due to these headaches Iv'e been getting.

So ever since Marble Hornets ended, the Hub's popularity has dropped... rapidly.

Joker's thrown around the idea of migrating to the THAC forum once it's up, so would it be a good idea to start a Hub thread immediately there? Perhaps the Hub'll become a thing again, with new and returning peoples.

I mean it's not as if we didn't know this was coming. It's an MH chatroom and MH is over. But we could start a Hub thread whenever there's a new place for THAC, sure.

I kinda think that's horseshit though because we virtually never talked about Marble Hornets. I think it's emptying out because all of you stopped going. I haven't seen you, Led, Kat, or GG there in forever. Now it's just Scorp and Mariah who have a weird prejudice against day time, me, Ztakk, and Probro. Maybe you all left because Marble Hornets ended, but THAT'S horseshit too.

I am merely pointing out that we had discussed several times in the past that the Hub would probably start to die down once MH ended, even if that's not actually what ended up being the reason for the decline in activity. I personally just have been unable to come like I used to lately, and somehow my timing ends up that almost any time I drop in it's pretty much empty- usually if anyone's there it's just one person alone, and I've had enough going on lately that I don't typically stay and talk if there's only one other person. Oddly enough, on the occasion that I do check in I've not seen you at all anytime I've been there, and I've only seen Professor a couple of times lately, so it may just be that we've been missing each other.

Really, I'd say that's the real problem. We don't have as many people as we did sometimes in the Hub's peak, and the people who still come can't (with a few exceptions) spend as much time there as before. A side effect is that those who are left often don't end up there at the same time anymore.

If people are still there I'll gladly start coming more often again now, provided I don't end up super-busy during the school year. Perhaps we should have an official Hub Party or two with a set time planned to try and get things moving again? If I know for sure that I can expect others to be there I'll almost certainly be there too.

I haven't been there this week because I've been visiting family. I was thinning the same as you, that we need to set up an event. But I'm not getting back for a couple of days, so when that's over I may try it get things together.

Plus, there's no way the Hub can die before hitting its first birthday on the 19th!
