Why don't you take your own advice from the first quotation? You don't like the dude? Take the moral high ground, and either don't respond, or respond in a way in which you aren't being just as big a dick. Seriously, can we get a locked drama thread like the fake entry thread and just dump all this bullshit there so we can have sensible discussions in the on topic threads again, and leave this one for it's original purpose? This post contributes to said bullshit, but what I originally suggested as a joke I'm starting to feel would actually serve a purpose, which is a dark day indeed.


I would, but Henry is a troll doucher who should be banned, so I will happily poop on him as I please. It mostly isn't so much that I have any issue with him personally, but I continue to fail to see why he is allowed to have the user name Marble Hornets and then spout off at the mouth talking shit about the series and its creators. Also, there is nothing to sensibly discuss on topic when the most recent Entry has been fully discussed already. Also, I was right, and considering MH an ARG is pretty noob move for someone who is such a self professed big fan.

If you're getting worked up about "drama" on a forum that isn't even all that terribly active then there must not be much going on in your life. I don't really see the problem with calling someone out who makes it his business to start shit with other people.

Not unless there is something to actually talk about. Sure, I shut down wild theories and give the series shit where it deserves it, but I never call out people specifically unless they say something COMPLETELY dumb. But If someone calls me out (which usually happens because they want to make it known that they disagree strongly with me), i'm going to respond, nobody wants to look like the bad guy.

So yeah, I could publicly hate on the series a little bit less. But that makes for one sided conversation where everyone is just agreeing with each other. The series is not perfect and the flaws need to be discussed just as much as the things that should be praised need to be discussed. This is a discussion board for the series at large, you can't just say "we don't want to hear negative thoughts about the series" mainly because your opinion is not reflective of everyone's and you don't have the authority to limit speech

IMO people need to just stop reading the context in which a post is made, and focus more on the content of the post itself. I am just as much a fan of the series as anyone else who considers them "the biggest MH fan out there," but that doesn't mean I'm not capable of realizing where the series needs work. I don't troll on the series, and if you think I do you're just using prejudged notions of the way I express myself to justify that reasoning.

There's an old saying that goes "the ones that criticize a subject the most are often the ones that are the most passionate about said subject". You can quiz me on anything MH related and I will more than likely get every question right, there's no reason to believe that I am only here to hate on the series because I actually hate it.

Hopefully that puts a rest to drama and gives a reason why it didn't need to be brought up in the first place. I doubt it will, but at least I'm trying here.

i was under the assumption this is where we discuss the events of the forum itself, but i guess i misinterpreted the title. otherwise if it's only to talk about the tinychat then an entire topic dedicated to an off site chat board seems redundant, you know? you'd be discussing things about discussions on another chat rather than just discussing them on there lol

Uh, no, this thread does have a purpose. It is to be used to announce/plan streaming events, primarily (and if you were accidentally banned from the room you can come here as well). It is by no means a thread to discuss the forum itself. If you want such a thread, by all means make one, and if Zarggg doesn't oppose it then why not?
