Tried the code and it seems they have changed it again. D'oh!
Glad it wasn't just me. Any ideas on the dots? Maybe that will lead towards a new access code. I'm also curious about the rest of that long garbled recording. There is a section in there that looks like a 3D Stereogram but does not appear to contain any 3D image. It seems a long recording just to contain a spectrogram in the last few seconds. Or maybe the PM likes messing with us!
Edited to add: This evening the last news article was tweeted again but this time with a number '8' in the message right after the link to the article, possibly correcting it.

So many unsolved items driving me a bit crazy. Not sure what to make of things right now, including the dots.

numbers solve

I wasn't sure if you had submitted an authorization request so I sent in that string anyway.

Nice work amandel! Pulling out all the greatest hits, aren't they? Now what's the deal with the eye image on FB?
ALSO, it's hard to find that phrase used in context along with a translation. I did manage to find a couple (one in a forum and one on a blog) and in both cases it meant "first post."

Looking at the eye image, it is almost identical to the image HERE , with just a few differences sprinkled throughout. Could possibly be due to conversion, but simply exporting from JPEG to PNG in Photoshop doesn't cause any. Wondering if there is maybe some kind of steg involved, but without a little more info that'd be a bit of a wild goose chase.

Also, since the photo came from Facebook I'm not sure that any kind of steganography would survive their import process. Does Facebook post the exact image or do they "re-sample" it? I always thought it was re-sampled and that would account for the minor differences.

Yeah that is the big question there and another reason for not looking too deeply. So many services like that fidget with the image, especially over a certain size. Might need to test it out and see if the bits are preserved or not.
ETA - not even having luck in getting FB to not convert it to a JPEG at this point.

Received the same. Can't help but seeing ∞ as a sideways 8 after all the eights we've had recently.

Hi! Hello! I've been trying to catch up as best as i can with this thing see if i can get myself back to doin ARGs and stuff, and this looks really rad!
What's the current situation? What's being done and what should i try to keep an eye open for.
I ask mostly cuz it's been a long time since my last ARG, i'd say almost a year i think. Heh.

We're basically trying to figure out where numbers are hidden and what different coded messages are being hidden in photos and phone messages. There are a number of codes we are still stuck on if you look above.
On another note their Facebook page just added the image below. This one has more obvious numbers than in some more recent images but I can't make them out on my phone at the moment.
