 		The dropbox is supposed to be automated, so it shouldn't need personal intervention unless something hiccupped.

Given how each forecast at this point continues to distort and degrade, (as well as the breakdown from the last poll) it is possible there are just no more of them. It seems the only thing we can do on it at this point is start tracking down players and raise tank counts, but since 'death' is offered as a reset for that player under a new name, it doesn't seem like there is a way to conclude it.

Update: I haven't been checking the radio site daily, but it seems atm it is playing on loop Brothers in Arms - Gregorian. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-j5vib8obek

 		I'm back from vacation and ready for action!

It's weird that we don't have a new forecast, but I checked the stream recorder and I don't see any issues. As Endzo pointed out, AMNA was broadcasting songs on loop for a looonnggg time (around 41 hours total). The two recordings are taking up 2.5 GB on my harddrive, so I'll probably delete them if anyone knows an easy way to check these files without listening to them.

I'm guessing the new twitter cipher is Vigenere or something similar. There's a repeated "rra" after 27 characters, so a Vigenere key might be 3, 9, or 27 characters long. I haven't had any luck, though.

 		I've tried tossing all the current unknown messages into a brute force program, but it wasn't finding anything consistently coherent.

 		So many old ciphers. Thanks for putting that tab together on the spreadsheet, Endzo!

The "9999...0000" ciphers stuck out the most since they seem to have some obvious information in them. At the time, players noticed the dates, but it looks like player ids are also encoded. For example:

Only 1 user player has ever had a userID with the 86 country code, A86-WJCR. I'm pretty sure that's what's at the beginning and end of the message, but I haven't cracked it yet.

These riddles might be completely useless 2 years later, but they're fun to puzzle over. I think it also means we're missing a player with country code 994.

I'm back after forever. I would have stayed gone if Admin hadn't dragged me back in.

Got some messages telling me I was being advanced on, told him I'd advance, then nothing for awhile. All of a sudden on the 7th of August he basically restarts this whole process, assigning me a new number and asking what my callsign would be.

I gave him a name and a direction and he confirmed it over a month later.

I checked out the twitter and apparently I got shanked. The day I got shanked is the same day that he sent me a new request for a new name. I'm glad he doesn't want the fun to end just yet.

I have a question for all of you. What happened to #161473, the guy who shanked me and who I took down with me? What was his call sign?

Also, can anyone provide a summary on what I've missed up until now? I've got a lot to catch up on, it seems.

EDIT: Callsign is HECATE, by the way. Anyone see that name crop up recently?

 		Updates! Finally got some emails from Admin last night. three in pretty rapid succession. Seems like he's been gone off for a bit too because they're all responses to things I asked a while ago.

First off I requested information regarding the Ascensionist Van attack investigation so I'm assuming this was response to that.

 		Hey all,

Been watching this topic forever and finally decided to post. If you look at this from a bit of a broader perspective, all of this seems to be tied around SMT, specifically Persona 4 and perhaps Devil Summoner.

First, look at the butterfly: http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Philemon Seem just the bit familiar? Butterflies and "Tanks"... hmm...

Secondly, look at the weather forecasts. If you follow along with the way that the forecasts are doing inside Persona 4, they oddly seem to match.

Thirdly, the Japanese that has been used, though this goes a little bit more back to Devil Summoner, is again harkening back to SMT.

Fourthly, the SSTV broadcasts, again these seem a little too much like a bit of the Persona 4.

Lastly, even the term Ascend, and a few of these other ones, you can relate back to the game.

The only thing I am not 100% on is the Kanye game, though, even then SMT is all about collecting and fusing monsters.

The more I look, the more everything lines up.

Just a thought, take it for what you will.

Could you expand on the forecast parallels with Persona 4? I'm lightly familiar with Persona and SMT, but haven't played any personally outside of P4Arena & Ultimax.

I worked on it yesterday and just couldn't figure it out. "Rra" occurrs twice(!), but very few English 3-letter words have the same 2 letters up front. The punctuation isn't out of place, so I figured scrambling wasn't very likely. I had the feeling that this was a keyed cipher, but Vigenere wasn't working out. I did a few other analyses, but nothing really jumped out at me.

Last night, I suddenly woke up at ~4am thinking about how "R" was as common as the English "E" (from yesterday's statistical analysis). I realized that E is 13 letters from R, so Rot-13 suddenly made sense, but I knew it was one of the first ciphers I tried. Back to sleep!

I did Rot-13 this morning on the whole message and it definitely looked scrambled.

Yeah,

In P4, the mechanic of the weather has to deal with when the next person is going to die. There are things like sunny, cloudy, storming, and fog. Depending on the day and the weather is a good determination to figure out the next murder, though not always does it work out that way. If you take the 2012 Persona 4 weather map and lay it out on the forcasting gird. You can figure out why some had died under some certain conditions where they could not have and vise-versa.

I forgot to mention, it did strike me as odd that the ascentionism picture, the one where it was an X with all the writing on it (I first thought it to be a form or a greek wishing pool (trojan legends)), but the more I look at it, it looks like a SNES SMT moster, lol

Again, take it for what you will, I might be on completely the wrong track, but there are just too many similarities for me not to say anything.

 		Thaaanks! Forecast15 is out, too! It's the coolest/creepiest one yet, but I don't know how I'm going to get the morse code out of it this time.

In the meantime, here are some notes I was typing up about 2 other interesting tweets:

It seems to be a musical clue, but I don't know what it's referring to. Here's the basic jist:
  • "♩=45" means "45 beats per minute", which is a little bit slower than a typical 60 bpm beat.
  • piano and G-clef: might indicate something about how to decode the message. Many piano songs are written with the right thumb starting on middle C, so a possible encoding could be "C = 1, D = 2, ..., G = 5, A = 6, B = 7"
  • "ice♪" - ♪ refers to an eighth note, but I don't know what ice means. There are 8 eighth notes for every beat, though (obviously?).
  • "blink♯♪" Same thing, but this is "blink sharp".
  • "caducei♮♫♪" means "caducei natural" and is followed by 3 eighth notes. Usually, the G-clef is followed by some sharp symbols to indicate which key the song is played in. Here's an example of D, which has C and F played as sharps. The natural symbol means to ignore the sharp temporarily. Anyway, I think this means we're in a key where "caducei" is sharp (in other words, we're not in C).
  • "Gale♫" - 2 eighths to Gale.
  • "D#♪" - 1 eighth to D#.
  • "|" - A bar, which signals the next beat. Guess what!? There were 8 eighths before the bar, so it actually makes sense.
  • "V♮♪" - this is where I get confused. Every other word had musical letters in it (a through g), but V isn't a note.

I'm hoping that this all leads to an 8-digit number for the (320)2ASCEND number, but that would mean 45bpm and the V aren't used. Hmm...

I believe that The organ playing is morse code as it is the same note repeated at different intervals, but I'm not sure. Interesting that Reginald is mentioned directly. Probably because he is the sculptor.
