Dude, Jay doesn't understand what a strong password is. When you make your default password 12345678, you gonna have a bad time.

Well, for me, I think that Jay from his POV has been dealing with the idea that Tim, the only person who he felt he could trust and his only companion for a very long time, was playing him. That's quite something to deal with and I can easily imagine him forgetting all about the Twitter and Youtube passwords while trying to get his heard around it (his mind gradually detoriating probably didn't help matters either)

Yeah, get that. I guess I just feel like since Jay seems to've been caught in a thought loop of "Can't trust Tim; Tim's a liar" he would've made sure Tim couldn't access his accounts any more. Although it doesn't seem that Tim ever tried to do anything...

Hmm...I still can't shake the feeling that Hoody and Tim are still playing Jay and Hoody got Tim to get his act together here after stressing just how important Jay is to their surrival. Since Tim has clearly has become attached to Jay, perhaps Hoody promised Tim if they act quickly, they might be able to save Jay? (Hoody and Masky seem to have a very dependent relationship and this would feed into that)

I don't think this will be the last of Jay behind the camera, though with a new source of tension will be for Jay whether he can truly trust what he observes through his Operator-addled mind, even with his meds. On the otherhand, I could see Tim getting Jay committed and Tim having to find answers on his own.

Jay would have been beyond messed up though, Operator inducted effects aside, that I can see him just not thinking clearly about the Twitter and Youtube account at all, but I do take your point.

This must happen.

In all seriousness, this would be the perfect comic relief to some tense standoff between Alex, Tim, and Hoody.

Oops, what I grump I must have sounded in my previous reply. I think we can only expect little humrous antedotes (like Jay complaining about more tapes back in entry #56) from time to time. We might get something like Tim heading up to Amy's university and someone asks him what he's doing filming and he'll say something like: "I'm filing a documentary. About univeristies" which would be a nice way to break up the tension and both ease and unerve audiences about his seemingly new role as the new protragnist.

Marble Hornets doesn't really do over the top humor, because the fellahs aim for realism (well, as realistic as you can get in a series about a faceless supernatural entitty) and that sort of humor would just detract from it.

If by Henry, you mean "Marble Hornets" -- He already is. And we're not the ones doing it, he is by being impenetrably dense and self absorbed.

That and he has no fucking idea what filler actually is.

it's a subjective term

Then why don't we all just agree to ignore him? Don't read his posts. Don't reply to him. Don't acknowledge his existence. I don't care if he actually has a valid point. Just ignore him. It makes the forum less stressful when you do.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I have to say, some much improved acting from Troy in this one. He's nowhere near as wooden as he's been sometimes.

Then you have no idea what subjective means either.

You can't rewrite definitions in the dictionary.

Just like you can't rewrite that stuff that progressed the plot ACTUALLY HAPPENED IN THIS ENTRY. That is not subjective. That is objective.

Learn English, and try not to be such an obnoxious snob. Look at how well that worked out for Pravado. I mainly lurk, but I'm getting the distinct impression that I'm not the only one tired of it.

So please. Stop.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I know I sound harsh, but I'm being blunt. I've had enough of this kind of stuff and arguments polluting threads, and apologies to the mods if I went a step too far here, but... I was tired of this stuff way back with Pravado, but it seems like we have PRAVADO 2: PRAVADO HARDER right now and it's just getting under my skin. Arrogance is one thing, self-righteous superdense arrogance is another.

I immediately laughed my ass off at how small that fucking knife was. Who the hell would get intimidated by that?

Also, Tim took self-defense classes during the wait. He knew exactly what to do in the heat of the moment.

Hoody will most likely free Jay before Tim gets back. I'm not sure what would happen after that, though. Maybe Tim will find that Amy is still alive and knows where Jessica is? This could go many different ways now. Innnnnnteresting.

Hoody's not going to go anywhere near Jay. Know why? Because the moment he cuts Jay's bonds, Jay is going to start wailing on him. Hoody don't want any part of that shit. So he's just going to leave him sitting there, tied up. Hoody isn't stupid. He's just insane. He knows full well that Jay has lost it.

This was a good Entry: short and sweet.

It seems that our Jay is becoming even more Alex-like what with his paranoia, anger and dependence on the camera. Will Tim be taking the reins from here on?

And how much longer does this all have to play out, I wonder? Events are moving along, slowly but surely, toward some sort of climax, yet we appear to have as many unanswered questions as ever. Indeed, I wonder if Hoody's identity will ever be revealed, let alone anything resembling a motive for the Operator.

I do like the hypothesis put forward that TO is symbolic of past regret. (Although that doesn't make the possibility of a happy ending very likely. How easy is it to escape one's past?)
